[The weather is nice and Azdaja is chilling under the shade of a tree. She has a small pile of rose canes and yucca leaves on the ground beside her, and she's using a kitchen knife to peel off the outer coatings and lay the strips out in the sun to dry. It's a bit tedious. She has been at it a while, judging by the size of the pile of plant peels.]

he's trying to focus on the books in the library - one can find him with several reference books on gardening. most of them have vivid pictures that he can copy very easily. he's actually a very good artist! he's copying them into a notebook that he's already filled with other drawings.

in lily's garden, he's pruning and weeding. with a variation of baskets around him, certain weeds go into one, others into another, actual harvestable plants, et cetera. by now he's a little messy, long hair all askew and cream dress thoroughly dirty.

he does not seem to care. he actually seems content in the garden. )

[ Flower Crowns ]

[Yesterday was such a difficult and tiring day. He doesn't have much energy if he is honest. He may have slept in (probably at Rose) but he also didn't fall asleep until late (he was blowing up). So today he simply wishes to unwind.

He has a book out with him, attempting to learn how to properly make the crowns from that, apparently.]

[ At some point in the late afternoon after he's (mostly) sobered up and the rest of Lily has wandered off on their own business, Ananke makes his way to the fountain. He hesitates in front of the fountain for a long moment before finally tossing his coin in, and the memory that follows seems to be a two for one deal! It begins with his mother questioning him about his past whereabouts, which leads into a hazy and only mildly disjointed flashback within the memory. The whole thing ends much sooner than Ananke would've liked, but most importantly — ]

[ sometime in probably the afternoon-ish tart can be spotted with ??catboy aides?? on his back, while he stands on his broom and just like. goes around doing things. honestly it's kind of a ridiculous sight probably. one of those things happens to be using magic to dig a giant-ass fucking hole next to the daffodil barn.

eventually once he's satisfied(?) (furi: whenever he feels like aides' MP situation is no longer in a danger zone) he's taking this blue furball back inside to daffodil. getting whatever blankets they have around the house to make a little nest so he can lie aides down and then lie himself down nearby and read books via floating them above his head so he can flip the pages with magic

relevant to biscuit specifically if biscuit happens to go to the bedroom at some point today: for some reason tart's magipen just Appeared in their room like it was magic swapped in and it hasn't been taken out since. ]

[LATER IN THE AFTERNOON. Edgelord tosses his own coin in the fountain and a memory plays. It perhaps offers some insight into the justice system he is used to dealing with.

Wow, that broad sure talks a lot. Plenty o' people'd condemn her just for the rush of gettin' one up on someone like that.

[Another intrepid soul on a foraging mission, Pond Fiend returns from his trip in the early afternoon. A large hand-woven (or magic woven) basket is strapped to his back and has been filled to the brim with various herbs, mushrooms, and whatever else he felt like gathering.

He has a tired smile on his face and this has been a great activity for stress relief, but the underlying problem is still there.

Aside from that, he's dressed a bit differently than usual - more casually than is typical for Rose, with a denim jacket over a black shirt and cargo pants. He'd had to add a couple red accessories, however, as wearing this had made it oddly uncomfortable for him to leave the house that morning. That means there's some red fabric around his neck and a red belt at his waist. Herd issues are rude like that.]
