How is that different from what we are doing? That is what I am trying to ask. What are we doing differently from you? Because it seems to me we are simply existing and doing our best in this situation, too.

I will not feel sorry for using herd mentality though. I do not really enjoy living in squalor and bloody clothes.

I feel fairly confident that if the snake cared at all he would have provided you adequate shelter and clothes. And I feel certain you would wear them and live in that shelter.

The snake knows how to summon creatures and create such pathways too.

As for Blossom, her summoning has mainly been incompetence. And just the other day we accidentally summoned a demon from a love chart. It seems easier than it should be.

What exactly happened and how was it hosted? No one shared any real details with me. I did hear rumors, but no clarification was given, or concrete proof one way or another.

It's a long story. The summation is everyone was forced to reveal some sort of truth about themselves. A lot of people took a "so what" attitude, but a few were truly upset over having dark secrets revealed.

Then, there was one last truth. "This person is a war criminal of the highest degree."

Someone did guess the snake. They were told they were wrong.

It was Blossom. And she was summoned on the spot under a truth field so strong she couldn't resist. It was true.

I really do not know about all of that. I will say right here and now, that I do not trust or like her. I have no faith in her abilities and she hides far too much.

But I trust the snake less.

You make these comparisons to prove that one is worse than the other. But if they're both no good, then making excuses for them means nothing. I will forge my own path. But it will never include an evil serpent.

You know what? That's fair. The snake doesn't need your devotion. Or mine, really. But, hear the second part of this, Crescendo.

Did you know Blossom is constantly summoning new people here to the pasture? They do not all make it. And those who don't...

Death simply takes them.

How many have been summoned here but "don't make it", Crescendo? You have no way of knowing. Nothing to bury. Nothing to mourn.

Is it happening by their, and your, own free will? Surely not.

That's a lot worse than the Snake, Crescendo. At least the Snake was honest about it. At least the Snake stopped.

Her selfishness continues as we speak. Her taking lives continues as we speak. All for the sake of "setting things right" in this pasture of hers.

I told your Shepherd all this when he belatedly arrived after the ritual. It seems he saw fit not to pass it on. But, I do not lie.
