[ He stops just outside of the forest, in the meadow. ]

Out here is fine. We'll need space, and I'd rather no one questioned what we were doing.

Alright.

Mm, agreed. But not only that, but I also don't want anybody else to see what we're doing. This is our business.

Hah... well, I don't disagree. I'd rather not have a gaggle of spectators watching me kill myself.

[ He turns to face Kaveh, holding out his hand for the marble. ] Let's get this over with.

[ he sets the marble in the palm of his hand and summons his claymore. ] I’m ready.

...you'd better be. Knowing myself, I doubt I'll go easy on you.

[ He looks at the marble and makes a face, but he swallows it down. He grimaces and clutches his chest as a glass replica manifests itself in front of them. It's not an exact copy of Wanderer, but it's made of glass and maybe Kaveh won't notice the differences. Yet.

It stands there and smiles at him. ]

[ this is so strange… his eyes flicker between wanderer and his double as kaveh snaps his fingers, summoning tempo to his side. he hesitates, not exactly wanting to be the first to strike. red said it can feel… so he’s going to hate that, but he wonders if it can talk. ~~doubtful~~. ]

Are you ready? [ yes he’s asking it… look, he’s trying to be polite. ]

[ Wanderer looks less than pleased, folding his arms over his chest and watching.

The double, however, starts to laugh as if it realized what's happening- but no sound comes out. It sneers at Kaveh and makes a motion with its hands likely meant to mimic some kind of attack as if to catch him off-guard, but... the glass double is defenseless. Nothing happens.

It seems frustrated by this, and gives no further indication that it's ready. Are you still going to be polite, Kaveh? ]

[ as soon as he notices it moving he brings his claymore up to guard, but… nothing happens. he seems a little surprised, but he supposes it is nothing but glass. he would prefer to kill it outright, to make it painless, but he and wanderer have to do this *together*, so that’s unfortunately out of the question… red wants this thing to suffer. ]

[ kaveh motions for tempo to turn away, another subtle flick of his wrist summoning vines to hastily snare the double’s wrists and hold it in place. ]

[ his expression becomes unreadable, red eyes dark, as his swings his claymore at its thighs to severe both of its legs. wanderer better just kill it after this. he really doesn’t want to have to hear it while it’s stuck there, slowly dying. ]

[ It acts too much like him for Wanderer to be comfortable having the glass double around. He hates watching it try to summon old power that even he can't use anymore.. ] You don't have to go so easy on it... [ He mutters, impatient for Kaveh to attack it already. ]

[ The double is frustrated to the point of enraged, his arms snared behind his back and glaring intensely at Kaveh. It opens its mouth in a soundless scream of hatred and pain as the claymore connects with its legs, shattering the glass. ]

[ ....and Wanderer flies forward as it falls, swiping his hand in an upwards motion to summon a tornado around the double that cracks the rest of it into pieces. ]

Just as pathetic as expected. [ He sneers down at the broken glass. ]

I'm not. [ he mutters, looking aside as wanderer summons a tornado that completely shatters it. he winces, taking a step closer to wanderer and reaching for his hand. he doesn't saying anything about the pathetic comment. he shouldn't need to. he hates it. ] We have everything we need. Let's go and talk to Red. I'll pick up the pieces, alright? [ he tugs on his hand, leaning down to peck his cheek. ]

[ Wanderer stares down at the pieces for longer than he should, but he snaps out of it once Kaveh kisses his cheek. He rubs his cheek self-consciously and turns away. ] ...fine. What a stupid task. I take it back, this wasn't fun at all.

[ kaveh stoops down and starts collecting the pieces in a blue cloth bag. ] ...no, it wasn't fun at all. Let's just go bring all of this stuff to that stupid fox.

This had better actually get us what we need, or I'm going to kill that fox next. Do you want me to come with you, when you deliver... it?

I think you should.

Unless you'd rather not. If this was already too much.

It wasn't too much. I'm going with you.
