If I were a cynical person, I'd think that Blossom was sanctioning despair-inducing events on purpose for us all to overcome. 'Strong personalities' don't mean much when the situation is stale. Light shines brightest when there's darkness, et cetera.

I really did just want to apologize, and to ask that question about the snake. There's — no quarrel, against you or the weeds, from my end.

Although, since you brought it up... is there anything you want, that you think I could give? I'd be willing to work with you, in exchange for ongoing information about the pasture and the Wolf King. Feel free to say no; I'll leave you be in that case.

I guess I have an obvious question. Had Akuki said anything about "I have this friend on bluebell?" Or had he gone over there much? Perhaps spending days?

Mmmm... it's not like I keep track of where my flockmates go. But I always sensed him back at Rose at least once a day, or every couple of days; he had the same 'flock binding' as the rest of us.

He mentioned once that Crescendo from Bluebell is someone of importance to him. Nothing more was said. Not to me, anyway.

Someone crazy enough to go in accompanied by a weed for navigation purposes, a Shepherd to lead the way back to the pasture, sunflowers for protection, and honeysuckle in case... a strong combatant gets possessed out there.

How did you figure that out?

I didn't. Someone told me that sunflowers were 'extraordinarily useful' against mist beasts, so I went to pick a few for myself. Twisting the stem was a natural course of action after that.

I haven't seen them in action against the mist beasts, but the light works on forest creatures too. And I trust the person that told me.
