Is it difficult to shift?

What happens to your clothes when you do this?

Takes concentration, but is easier for me since my sizes are near each other! Shifting all the way is easier than shifting partway, too.

Normally would leave clothes on ground, but can store them in a bag Daffodil gets. That part is just quick change party trick.

Oh man, I'm so envious! I can't change without shredding all my clothes... and I only have so many!

Well, most of us are. Members of the aristocracy can fly, but all us commoners are flightless. We're a ground-dwelling species, so our bodies are better for digging.

--Not that we have to do that by hand any more, what with modern technology and all.

Is a little different from home! Have commoner dragons that can fly and have wealthy dragons that can't. Would not go well trying to pull rank on a wyrm because they can't fly.

You said everyone in your world can shift, right? Is that just gryphons, or...?

Is everyone! Gryphons, dragons, sphinxes, manticores, everyone.

Wow, that many species? And they're all sentient?

Does everyone, uh, ...get along?

More or less. Sometimes get trouble and get some species who live away from everyone, but also have cities where dozens of different species live.

That's amazing... I wish I could see it! It's hard for me to imagine.

Have heard it used to be worse, but that was ages and ages ago.

Think was just time? Populations got bigger and people figured out benefits of living near each other.

It really is, actually. Especially if your career is studying biology after centuries of systematically destroying most of the species in your world.

But that's what exploring other worlds is for, am I right?
