Seeds keep for a long time too....not the best emergency food but better than nothing.

Have eaten many, many dried seeds in lifetime.

We should probably start thinking more about long term food rations in case we get cut off from the outer pasture or something....our garden is pretty good though.

Would be a good idea... Could save some of our rations as um, rations. But can do stuff like drying fish or potting meat, too.
