...in Minuet's case...I am not actually sure what to do in those situations except perhaps hit him very hard over the head. To be honest. And that is speaking as someone who likes him perfectly well.

That takes time, though, and is particularly hard to navigate in the heat of the moment. But some agreement made prior to rituals may work.

I was also chided early and often, for making any decisions that risked Lily without consultation. It is an effective angle.

From what I have seen, that should be feasible with some practice.
