We wouldn't be here unless we wanted to talk! I know it maybe doesn't seem that way, but we have no malice toward Lily and no desire to hurt Lily, either. We're here to offer our sincere apologies and discuss what we can offer Lily as equitable recompense for how Rose has wronged you.

I'm glad we see eye to eye. Lily has no real need to see Rose grovel; we simply want to make sure we can be on the same page going forward.

First thing to mention is the various collaborations Lily and Rose has had.

Primarily: Aides was working on several projects for Rose, and to my knowledge Pond Fiend and Angel Devil were to be the recipients. These projects are largely made, but have not been finished. They will stay with Lily for now: Aides has noted he no longer wishes to give them to Rose.

There is also the subject of a collaboration with Angel Devil when experimenting with the goings-on of death and soul retrival. The apparatus in question is in Lily's custody. It will stay that way.

Are there objections or preferred negotiations in regards to these?

I don't have any objections, but those weren't my projects, so I'll let Angel Devil and Pond Fiend weigh in after me. My only question is, even if we leave all these projects with Lily now, do you see there being an opportunity to renegotiate later?

The possibility of renegotiating terms is always open, but I can't say how or when these things would be open. That'll have to fall with Aides, Charon, and Lethe.

I'll leave the floor open for Angel Devil and Pond Fiend.

The doll was a rough prototype, so I caution attention to its state over time. But there's nothing further I would ask of Lily for the project.

... I knew what I was doing when I made the decision I did. I don't expect to get anything I asked for if the maker has been slighted.

That being said. If Aides, who definitely isn't here at the moment, would like to raise the price to whatever suits him... I'm not going anywhere. And he's already received one apology from me.

Hehe... Well, they basically summed it up!

Angel Devil is living under a curse which he chose not to discuss widely while he was figuring out how it affected his memories and behavior. While it's affected some of his memories for a while, to my knowledge it hasn't affected his behavior in any other ritual or in day-to-day life. Or at least, it hasn't affected his behavior in a way that was noticeable or wasn't easily countered. The last ritual is the first time it's really reared its head.

What you did to Angel Devil after the latest ritual seems to have helped remove the curse. We're not sure how long the removal will last, but now that we know that foreign magic can affect it, we're looking into ways to counteract the curse more permanently. To start out with, Angel Devil is reaching out to Blossom to see if there's anything she can do. We're hoping that she can help either permanently remove the curse or at least provide some means of nullifying its effects.

In the meantime, Angel Devil has made Rose aware of the curse, his understanding of what situations might provoke it, and its potential to alter his behavior. Now that we're aware of it, Rose is prepared to counter the effect it has on him by, um, knocking him out. And between me, Azdaja, Face-Making Devil, and Blood Fiend, I'm pretty confident that we can take Angel Devil out if we have to. We've got vines and we're not afraid to use them.

Blood Fiend knows many things he doesn't bother sharing at large.

He tries to keep us in the loop on the important stuff we all have to know. We had a whole infodump recently. But—this was a personal thing. He couldn't have known it would turn out like this.

And if he'd been at the ritual--which he wasn't--I'm sure Blood Fiend would have acted on what he knew as soon as he realized it was kicking in.

As it stands, the curse had only really affected Angel Devil's memories before the last ritual, so there didn't seem to be a need to make it widely known in Rose.
