We've put together a small list of things we can offer as part of equitable recompense--exact amounts and details to be decided here. It's pretty basic stuff; beyond the obvious like help with hunting and gathering supplies, we can offer access to the meat locker and its equipment or help with butchering, and Pond Fiend has access to salt. There might be other things we can offer, based on what Lily wants or needs; we don't know what that is, though, so it was hard to tailor it to Lily specifically.

We would welcome the addition of salt as a resource to be shared. In addition, we would like to know if the skill of making Angel Devil's soul vessel could be taught, or if another could be made for Lily. Materials will not be solely on Rose to acquire if needed.

...Anyone can learn to make them, if they're capable of the correct fine manipulations or possess the correct equipment. I have industrialized the process in the past, before coming here, to be performed with little need of outside input.

Unfortunately, I do not currently possess the full knowledge of how to make more, as of the cleansing of the curse.

The other option I had in mind was assistence in completing Red quests.

Sure! I mean, it's not one of the things we'd thought of, but I think it's a reasonable request. Is there a particular Red quest you had in mind or is this more for any future quests once he's back?

I don't currently have any in progress, but we tend to stay away from Red as he has a penchant for Lily blood and tears. Stable help would do wonders, as would help bartering with him.

( lily preferring not to do red quests is probably partly why they're so... overprepared. )

We'll at least hear you out on it. But before that, I have a couple questions about the Red quests thing. How many quests do you see us helping with until you're satisfied? I know Red can be kind of capricious in the quests he gives out, though, so...maybe a flat number isn't the best way. But I'd still like to be clear on the, um--limits of what we owe you and how you're planning to track that.

Hmmm... let's say three quests that we truly require help from. We wouldn't need help if he said something like...

"Kehehe! If you want this griddle, you'll have to sing for me!" ...for example.

Three hard quests or five easy ones.

What would you consider a hard quest versus an easy quest? I know Red has a lot of range in the quests he hands out...

Let me think on the quests we've had...

An easy quest... Aides was asked to play a prank on someone without any explanation of why or what he was doing in exchange for materials for his security system. Ah, I suppose my quest of throwing pepper powder into someone's face for gunpowder also does.

A hard quest is... oh! Chronos asked for books, and Red required him to stab someone nonlethally. Or cutting someone open to look at their organs for medical materials, though that wasn't ours, that was Bluebell...

It's a good deal. Harm or inconvenience of an unknown shape. As equivalent as you can get to what we rejected accepting, during the ritual. Except... under far more negotiable circumstances.
