In its most extreme cases... when people undergo extensive isolation, grief, or trauma, they are sometimes too preoccupied to take care of themselves. A wellness check is what it's called when a caretaker or soul ma—um, a "therapist" specifically stops by to check on how they're doing, to make sure they're being taken care of, and to help them should they need it.

In a more normal circumstance, this is a check-in by a caretaker or therapist to ask how the person is feeling, what their struggles are, and how to overcome them.

It's not really something you pass or fail...

If someone is undergoing a crisis, they're taken care of. Talking it through, medication, group sessions—that sort of thing.

Lily would not be making decisions for Rose. We are merely checking on everyone's emotional state and mental well-being.

"Taking action" would be giving you all emotional support, not making those decisions for you.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "personal stuff"... we can't force you to tell us anything.

No. That does not honor the spirit of it as a request.

We're not asking for medical histories and life stories. We're just concerned with 'how are you doing, that new ritual sure took a lot out of everyone, are you okay? Do you need to scream into a pillow or whack a scarecrow?'
