In its most extreme cases... when people undergo extensive isolation, grief, or trauma, they are sometimes too preoccupied to take care of themselves. A wellness check is what it's called when a caretaker or soul ma—um, a "therapist" specifically stops by to check on how they're doing, to make sure they're being taken care of, and to help them should they need it.

In a more normal circumstance, this is a check-in by a caretaker or therapist to ask how the person is feeling, what their struggles are, and how to overcome them.

It's not really something you pass or fail...

If someone is undergoing a crisis, they're taken care of. Talking it through, medication, group sessions—that sort of thing.

While reasonable, I have to decline. Even if I speak with, for example, Blood Fiend—and he has no problems of note, if Angel Devil comes out and says "actually he was behaving oddly, I'm worried", it gives context to me that perhaps it's worth checking with Fifi again.
