out from lily's barn comes persephone. he seems... different?

usually his hair is in a braid or a ponytail, but it's loose and long. he seems to have a face full of makeup, eyes framed with a sharp, bold outline of red and matching lip and skin void of his usual light freckles. instead of his flowy dresses and skirts, he wears a man's blouse with black shorts that barely make it halfway down his thigh.

he has a... different aura about him.

[Charon comes out...not exactly dressed up, but dressed in an unusual reversal of his everyday paler colours. the dark button-down and gloves and pants are normal. the coat, deep charcoal and heavy and tailored for a clean sweeping line instead of a loose pocket-filled drape, is not. neither is the fact that the only white he's wearing is the scarf wound around his neck.

Sooo... I'm leaning toward a "no" for this one. But it seems like the rest of you are more familiar with these "wellness check" things, so I figured you should all get a say, too. Yes or no?

Please only say "yes" if you're planning to actually, like, honestly answer questions about your feelings and stuff, as opposed to lying or deflecting or being mysteriously lost in the forest whenever Lily comes by... I don't want to give anyone any reason to say we didn't live up to what we agreed to.

I think he's just saying that they'd like to touch base with us occasionally and make sure we're doing okay. I doubt there's really any harm with it, and I think it could help foster improved relations between our two teams.

But if someone in Rose doesn't feel comfortable baring their soul to someone on Lily, maybe those people could at least agree to talking with another Rose, instead?

I think checking in on each other within the team is good practice, anyway. So I don't see any real downsides.

I didn't have some long boiling grudge toward the flock of Lily that made me want to kill them. I acted in the moment purely under the threat I perceived the demon to be offering. That isn't an... existing, emotion.

...I currently remain sure if I even ought to tell them what threat I thought the demon was offering, because... ah... I would prefer it not be on their minds?

All in all-- my honest opinion? This is all getting off rather lightly, and I can only assume something else is coming in due time. Again, I'm personally willing to do my due diligence for all of their requests, but I don't... want to drag you all into handing them the playbook, to actually taking their pound of flesh.

there are little stools for everyone to sit around a vine-spiraled table.

perci himself shakes himself off and goes to sit on the opposite side, before gesturing in front of him. )
