What have you heard about recent events so far...?

Angel Devil gave me a pretty detailed account of what happened. A little fuzzier on what happened after; we wound up talking about some personal stuff instead.

Do you wanna tell me your side of things? I'd like to hear what everyone has to say.

What's there to say?

I helped convince the team to foolishly turn on a flock who hasn't wronged anyone and now the rest of the pasture is looking down on us.

Well... I'd like to know why you did that. Maybe I'm wrong, but you don't seem like the kind of guy who'd do something like that without some kind of reason.

I wanted to win. Isn't that enough of a reason?

Well, judging by the new meat locker and apples, you got what you wanted, but you seem pretty depressed for someone who got what they wanted, so...no?

Ha. Well. I'm embarrassed by my poor judgement.

I'd still like to know your reasons. I'm not, like, mad about it, or trying to embarrass you more or anything. I'd just like to understand why it all happened.

I thought back on a situation I hadn't cared for and let it affect me more than it should have. I recalled when Blood Fiend asked us to put Lily before ourselves when it came to potential sacrifices.

It was childish and impulsive to want to turn on them for that.

[well...no, so not being mad about it is her default state, but still.]

Okay. Thanks for telling me that. Um... I'm not gonna go into a lecture or anything because it seems like you've done a lot of thinking and reflecting and, you know, introspection and stuff on what happened. Which is good! I'm proud of you, Pond Fiend. The only thing worse than making a mistake is not being able to learn from it. Someone I knew once told me that.

I'm...still talking to people and getting information and stuff, but I really don't think the situation is hopeless. So... I know you probably want some time to yourself to deal with everything, but--don't let despair consume you. And stuff. I'm making plans!

Did anything else important happen while I was gone? Like, did anyone pick a fight after the ritual or did Blossom do something weird to the pasture again...?

If there's a fight happening I don't know about it yet. [lol]

And as far as I know the pasture is still the same - for now.

[she hesitates for a moment, then gives him a pat on the shoulder, ending with a squeeze. she kinda feels like he could use a hug, but...she's not sure how he'd take it. so a shoulder pat will have to do.]

He feels like a child, but that doesn't mean he doesn't appreciate being checked on.]

[she just wishes she could do more for him... but since he wants to be left alone, that's what she'll do for now. she needs to track down the rest of Rose to talk to anyway.]
