[MISSION BRIEFING]
All right. Our plan is to travel into the mist to find the demon ram's cave full of golden statues. Edgelord, as a "fanged beast," should be able to navigate us through the mist. We have to stay in contact with him the entire time in order to see where we're going, and if worse comes to worst, I'll be able to guide us back to the pasture.
[nodding at Yata!]
Yata's mirror can act like a pocket dimension, so we don't have to worry about carrying the statue ourselves. We can also escape into there in an emergency.
[flexes his fingers around his staff and gives one last deep inhale and exhale]
And finally. . . to those of us who are still bombs: I'm ready to detonate us to either kill the demon ram or destroy the cave, if necessary. But I won't do it without consent from the rest of you, okay? Edgelord, Tyr and Blood Fiend shouldn't have to worry about dragging our bodies back either, thanks to the bomb demon's boon of automatic revival.
Any questions?

Those of us with bombs should wear clothes we don't mind losing.

[TO CHARON, MINUET, YOUR NAME]
Thistle is heading out into the mist this morning. Wish us luck, okay?
If you hear an explosion-- heck, I don't even know if sound carries from beyond the mist-- try not to worry, okay?
I'll let you know when we get back.
[AND THEN HE IS OUT, any replies will be ignored if only because he is busy!1]

[BLOWN BACK INTO THE MEADOW]
The same cannot be said for the rest of Thistle. While they are also blown back to the meadow, they are significantly less intact.]

[THE GOOD NEWS ABOUT THE THISTLE BITS IS. . . once they all land, they start to just. come together on their own? until there is one fully whole messy-haired Thistle shepherd lying on the ground, staring at the sky as he clutches his staff, looking super dazed and bewildered]
