[the morning of day 22 begins with a light drizzle, as has been typical for the past few days. but despite the damp weather, a playlist of music also echoes across the pasture, luring you towards the center!]

[the music and the bamboo wishing tree are a great start to the festival, but other people have been hard at work to make this a day to remember, right?]

There is a theme of beauty with the other two. [He points to the venus comb.] Vanity, beauty, glamour, love, protection. [Then the conch.] Beauty, freedom, grace, strength, progress.

What do you think a good reading would be, given these themes?

Of course... I do not know how to do this properly. But if I were to give one, then--

Perhaps, you have found someone who has set you on a new path. It is the beginning of a new relationship with someone with whom you will be tightly connected. Is acting not something idols usually do?

[Perhaps he had been comparing the term too much to what Vil is, when Vil is more of an actor and model.]

There are some who do, I think. But an idol's primary job is related to their skills as a singer and dancer-- holding concerts and performing live. That sort of thing. But as individuals within the entertainment industry, some also branch out into acting or modeling and make other appearances. So acting is not necessarily something all idols do, but some might juggle both.

I'm quite a fan of music myself. Azul and I... well, I assume Azul, my brother and I... were in a band together in middle school. Yes, he mentioned we were.

[He shakes his head, smiling.]

I don't know if I would be brave enough to stand on stage as a lead singer.

Really? Perhaps you would be willing to join Aides-san and myself. We are hoping to engage in idol activities as a way to destress here.

I played the bass while I was in the band, though I'm not limited to it.

That is rather exciting. If you ever feel the desire to play, I hope you will consider doing so here. Those who can play instruments would be welcome.

You could also ask my brother. Though... whether or not he ends up playing on any given day would depend on his mood.

For some strange reason that gives me an incredibly daunting yet familiar feeling. That would be quite inconvenient if he decided not to show up to a performance.

Oh he could almost surely be convinced to come to the performance. It's getting him to come to practice that would be tough.

He's something of a musical genius, however, so he would do his own part on stage just fine.

Geniuses are exhausting. And frustrating on a personal level. All of that talent while the rest of us must put in endless hard work. How truly blessed he is.

Well, if you should ever desire someone to watch with you, I am around. I have witnessed a few that were difficult to swallow for others.
