RED'S SHOP
It seems full of various knickknacks--slinky coils, googly eye stickers, a painting of sheep!mona lisa, plain bubble gum........just a lot of random, mostly useless junk, aside from the odd practical item like notepads or pencils.
There's a sheep(?) manning the register]
Howdy howdy!

[this is a fox]
Can I get the googly eye stickers? They're very important.

It's a good trek to the forest and...honestly the meadow is beautiful?? Rolling hills of sweet grass and shrubbery, a few birds here and there, a lake in the distance, it's great!
The forest though is a bit. . .ominous. . .but there doesn't seem to be anything immediately dangerous. Even though it's early afternoon, it looks as if it's night time in the woods. They might have to wander for a while, but eventually they'll come to a clearing. Proceed?]

- mostly they want to check the trees on the forest edge so some of them can break off branches to hit things with or whatever. maybe test out how good their little ghost sheep are at lifting things.
- then check the lake to see if there are harmless fish, for easy food and/or live catches for Nefarious Reasons
- also things that have 'Gator' in the name are quite possibly near the giant water source???
- if the Scisters are also around the lake they might be easier to spot there than they would be among the trees.
it'd be really funny if they just got fucked up in the forest outskirts and got stuck at step one though. WHO KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN? certainly not them. the point is they are doing their best.]
no subject
It's about a half hour walk to reach the forest's edge, though it's large enough to be seen in the distance far before then. The meadow between the pasture's fence and the forest is massive and sprawling--there are beautiful rolling grassy hills, flowers and shrubbery of all types, some cute basic meadow animals, really, just some Sound of Music scenery shit.
The forest's edge however is. . .ominous. Despite it being high noon, very little light seems to get through its branches. Sounds can be heard even without entering proper--squawks and growls, ominous cicadas, but also other, unfamiliar noises. Clicks and shrieks and whistles. . .
Get closer?]

THE FOREST, HOWEVER. . .
While it seems like a normal forest in the distance, up close? It's far more ominous. Despite being afternoon, barely any light seems to penetrate the branches within. Growls and screeches and croaks echo from all sides. . .but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
