WHO: Sheep!
WHERE: The Pasture!
WHEN: 102 Morning-Afternoon!
[HELLOOOO SHEEP, that certainly was a fairly pleasant demon ritual last night! And you know what, aside from one of the moons disappearing (,,,,,), things are going pretty swell!
Until the next morning.
Those who are out in the meadow beyond the fence, may notice that some mist wolves are actually breaking through the mist. You can now encounter wolves just, out there in the meadow. They are slightly weaker not being in their element, but can cause problems all the same.
The fence. . .also, abruptly, starts crumbling. Thankfully, due to the barrier they all created during the kidnapping fiasco, they're still all mostly protected! However, the wolves can slip into gaps from the broken fence. Maybe repair those.
But wait, there's more! One type of fruit tree in every flock suddenly shrivels up, taking that fruit away. You all may decide which one goes bye bye! (but hit up the top comment so I can keep track of it). Any fruit you've harvested for yourself or the food drive already is fine to keep, just any from that particular tree in the future is donezo now.
Finally, random scattered feathers float through the air. Should you touch any, you may experience the following:
Black Feathers - Increased anger, rage, impulsiveness; you may find yourself lashing out violently even to people you like.
Pink Feathers - Increased anxiety, paranoia, depression; even if you try to tell the truth you'll find yourself lying.
White Feathers - Increased loneliness, insecurity, jealousy; you'll find yourself blurting out the truth even if it hurts.
Wack. But hey that's pretty mild all things considered!! EVERYTHING IS FINE AND NORMAL ignore that Stormy has been missing for two days probably and occasionally Blossom flickers in and out of existence.]

[He's doing what he can to ignore the feathers floating through the air right now, and instead stationing himself outside the fence. They... they have to fix this immediately! He really doesn't have any idea how to use most tools, but he's grabbed a hammer and is attempting his best patchwork job.

So. Who wants to confess to being responsible for this particular incident?

Ananke is the first to speak up. ]
Um…… So, starting from the beginning: I stole Blossom's book. —I didn't, like, plan on it exactly, but I found her with it when I went to ask her a question about dreams and stuff. And she started talking about how if she can just find the perfect spell she can fix everything, and "then it'll all be okay!", and all that panic spiral stuff she always says right before she does something crazy.
So I took it! And Iknowthissoundsbad but we cracked the password on it, and it turned out she uses it as a diary. And it is messed up.
For starters, the password on it was about wanting to kill her mom, and one of the entries was just "I'm not like her" over and over again. I know her mom is like the ultimate demon and demons are "supposed" to be evil, but—I dunno. Blossom doesn't exactly sound stable either. The last entry was her talking about wanting to steal everyone's names again so she can use that to somehow kill every demon in existence, but she's not even sure it would work. She's never sure anything will work the way she wants! She just wants to be right and be the one to fix it.
[ the little Ananke cube ducks his head and bobs in place for a moment, a bit like he's rubbing his forehead ]
Anyway. I can give out copies of what the diary said exactly if you want to read it for yourself.
Infodump 2/3
So, Blossom’s a mess, we always knew that part. And, look, we’ve seen what Blossom does when she’s stressed, so I don’t think the reaction was unwarranted. The last thing we want around here is more crazy rituals.
But, uh, for some background information, we recently received a tip from Death to look into a ghost that hadn’t yet been laid to rest. It turned out to be our Lady Priest’s ghost–we mentioned this recently with a whole bunch of other information, but it’s important! Because of the memories we saw at that time, we had wanted to talk to Stormy anyways to figure out exactly how our Lady died. And he just so happened to show up at our door to get the book back for Blossom. It was a perfect opportunity to have a nice, civil conversation about a centuries-old murder mystery!
But he wasn’t interested in having an extended conversation about it. The most we did get out of him was confirmation that he did murder our priestess. Which, you know, even if she’s not the most personable person in the world, that’s still a dick move to do to your fiance. Since her murder inadvertently kicked off this whole mess we tried to get him to explain his actions. Even if he didn’t remember, he could have at least come up with an educated guess of some kind, you know? But he wouldn’t answer anything, and he also threatened to finish the job. You can’t just go into someone’s house and start threatening people like that...

Mass Cube Call
I have two important things to note quickly-
For those who are not already aware, some of the trees are beginning to die and wither. I realized the fact while on my way to try and repair the fence.
I don't know what that spells out for our food resources. The food bank is still well-stocked, but we were attempting to increase our reserves to help some of the wolves who had been in dire need of help.
I think it might be a good idea to harvest as much as you can right now, to prevent further loss. And after this, getting together to figure out what to do once we've properly secured the pasture again would not go amiss.
Secondly, be careful. The mist wolves are breaking through various parts of the fence. One nearly bit me in my attempts to fortify it. I would suggest not wandering alone right now, and keeping yourself armed in the event that they fully break through.

he'd never done math on how much juice you can get out of a single sunflower before, and the attacking wolves make perfect targets.
you might be out fighting one when suddenly it gets burned out like an ant, before shortly, his cube pops up. ]
