[shepherds of sheepgame y'all get a call from Charon at some point:]

We can agree that there's a new foe in the mists with real and active intent to endanger us all, correct? As they've done us the courtesy of a warning strike and not an all-out offensive from the start, let's meet and come up with a plan of action together. I'm sure we're all looking to our barns individually, but it's better if a direct threat never gets that far in.

If people in your flock or Weeds your flock is friendly with want to present some suggestions and solutions themselves, or just attend to stay informed, please have them attend as well.

[WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN, i'll put up some headers, let people know what you/your team are doing or planning under the appropriate ones so that other people can chime in with suggestions and assistance! HANDWAVE YOU GOT TOLD IF YOU WANNA BE THERE.

Charon is not going to be responding to Absolutely Everything because i am but one player but everyone feel free to jump each other. i'll sort out a summary at the end as needed.

[its a beautiful day (maybe) and the Daffodils have been hard at work doing various things for their fellow man and also themselves. Some of them more themselves. Whatever the case there are things to do, deals to cash in on, and also I guess we have these star bits golly I wonder what a star bit can do when combined with many other star bits guys

[so some stuff has happened! there's stick-together sweaters, there's secret mind-reading potential, there's whatever status effects people are winding up with post-memories, there's memory coins hanging about still ready to be used. some people might still be working their way back from death or wacky adventures, who knows. it's been a weird few days, which is just Sheep's normal at this point, if you think about it.

there are also black birds about the pasture for the rest of the day, Teleute having dissolved back into her many component bodies after the ritual. they don't seem to be up to any obvious mischief, though, mostly perched huddled up on branches, or on the edges of barn roofs with their heads under their wings.

but if you dream/dreamwalk tonight, it can be a little...eerie. however individual psyches manifest this, you might dream of being watched, or being picked apart in the literal or metaphorical sense. you might dream about times in your lives when you felt bleak and cold, like the mist beyond the pasture and the snow within have burrowed into your mind.

(but you might dream of the warmth that brought you out of those times too, of helping hands. or maybe you're the one walking into dreams to bring that to them...?)]

[ Well! Isn't this a fine day? Despite the snow — or perhaps because of it — it's been a fairly chill (haha) day. So chill, in fact, that people may not have noticed Faith slipping out of her tower and heading to the edge of the pasture. Once she's by the fence, she draws a knife across the palm of her hand before pressing the mark on her arm.

The sky flashes red briefly and then there's . . . more light flurries falling? Huh.

More notable is the big red sleigh that is now going to and fro across the pasture sky. It's led by eight reindeer who seem to be doing a bang up job of keeping it just out of reach, even if people are able to fly. Sitting in the sleigh is Faith herself, all dressed up and looking pretty pleased with herself. Seated next to her holding the reins to the sleigh is what appears to be the ninth reindeer, a skeletal being with a festive hat planted between his tinsel-decorated antlers, his nose glowing an eerie shade of red.

Suddenly, everyone will find themselves with two bingo boards and a stack of memory coins. But these coins aren't normal, as indicated by their candy cane color scheme and the visage of the reindeer demon printed on one side. Instinctively, you know you are responsible for imbuing these coins with memories yourself and that they will work in any water source.

The demon's voice echoes into the night: ]

Share amongst thyselves and release the ghosts of the past once and for all.

[ IF YOU CAN BELIEVE IT, Daffodil is hosting another party in their pasture today.

Fortunately, the pasture is in the half of the area that isn't covered by snow, though the snow does creep up to one side of their fences. They have prepared food as always for anyone who stops by. But more importantly, they appear to have prepared a few ( displays. )

Anyone who stops by will be greeted by Crois, who's smiling brightly as he gestures towards the spread. ]

Come! Come, my friends. We have an educational display up for all to see, and! Soon enough, my good friend Muffin will be leading us in a few party games!

[ though when he says that, he says that like someone who knows damn well there is zero educational value in the display.

oh well! have fun at the latest daff party. ]

[GOOD MORNING SHEEP. You may have been awoken by your OWN sheep--as they seem to be very active this morning, bleating, and gathering at the fountain. It looks like it's offering time, as the gathered sheep have left offerings to their new gods among the crystal flowers, despite Blossom's protests.]

NO!! For the last time they aren't gods, they're--you! Stop praying!! W-weh,,,

[oh well!!

MEANWHILE, some people may have noticed it's a chillier this morning. Not uncomfortable, just a sharp contrast to the usual pleasant, mild temperature of the pasture. Additionally, for anyone venturing out into the meadows, you'll notice there is far less wildlife around, including the pygmydillos, birds, and fish. That's probably not a bad omen or anything.

Anyway, while you're at the fountain, you may catch the eye closing and the glow on those antlers fading. Looks like Death's taking a break!]

[ANOTHER PEACEFUL DAY WRAPPING UP IN THE PASTURE HOW YALL DOING.

Just before the sun sets Daisy rings the cafeteria bell--if anyone cares for it, she's made vanilla/fruit flavored milkshakes and some very filling salads for people. Like with arugula and sunflower seeds and other healthy salad shit I don't eat. Oh right and cattail-baked bread and some cheese.

BUT SCREW THAT WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Just out and about? Dreaming? Still messing with monsters?? It's up to u.

[ dang! it’s been a while since any of the little empty-vessel sheep gained sentience and personalities, right? well . . . today you might find yourself pulled towards the fountain area in the middle of the meadow, where two little Rose sheep are very active, very aware, and capering on the rim of the fountain! one is wearing a headband with fake kitty ears and the other is wearing a headband with fake puppy ears.

also there is blood on the ground and they have fully summoned a demon already, each twin patting the head of the respective animal they favor. oops. there's two large, empty pet food bowls sitting on the ground in front of them as well, which is a little weird.

they speak in unison:]

“Did you know; did you know?”

[the cat-eared one smiles, very sharp.]

"Some rituals lately had a bit of a bite--wouldn't you say, Tot?"

[the dog-eared one is more... well, hangdog, though you think it might be exaggerating a little.]

"It's so easy to let yourself get distracted by emotions..."

"That's no excuse, Tot! All that energy, all that conflict--for what? Nothing serious happened."

"How could there have been…? There was… no food involved. At all."

"Eeeeexactlyyyyyy!!"

[the cat-eared sheep hisses. the dog-eared one staggers in despair and looks on mournfully, little sheep hoof held up earnestly over its heart.]

"...what if they had a reminder of what's really worth fighting for, Tater?"

"You don't think-- the food bowl-- they might really-- after a thousand years?!"

"Take a deep breath…! Even waiting since the beginning of the universe, we remember what's important…”

[and, once again together:]

"We're all made of meat!"

[they beam at you, little fangies prominently on display.]

"--oh yeah, if you didn’t catch it, my name’s Tater! Meow!"

"And my name’s Tot… woof…!"

"Do your best; the CatDog Demon is very hungry! Eeheeheehee!"
