...Well, what sorts of things do you like to do?

I like to keep busy. Sometimes I'll go watch movies, but for the most part, I don't know what to do with myself if I don't have something to do.

Movies... I've never actually seen one myself. The technology to record and play video media is extremely rare.

Really? We'll have to go watch one, then. [a beat] All the actors are sheep, but it's still pretty entertaining.

Heh, you get used to it. And it's two hours where you can turn off your brain for a little bit, so - mostly worth it.

What are you usually thinking about?

Ah - depends on the day. Day like today, I've got stuff I need to do for Red so I'm focused on getting that done. Figuring out how to do it, mostly, since - well, you know how he is.

You mentioned the book needing an update, so I've been thinking on that, too. My partner is the one who set it up so I kind of feel like I should at least help maintain it more.

Oh, I've been thinking about the book too... I was just talking to Azdaja about it too, actually. She filled me in on a few things I was still missing.

The information could really use to be split up more... For example, a basic rundown of what this place is like for newbies, a detailed reference for things like the limbus plants or wolfsbane, and an ongoing chronicle of events. There are definitely some gaps in the first thing that could be filled in without worrying about making the latter parts comprehensive.

A chronicle might be helpful, but I don't know how detailed it would be. Like with mine, that's just things I overhear or I'm directly involved in. The book would have to be a group effort - or need someone dedicated to gathering all the information.

At the very least, though, it should be re-organized.

Mm. Hoping to have an accurate and complete record of events is impossible at the best of times, let alone just by relying on individual goodwill and desire to share information. You need people dedicated to researching it and to presenting it in a way people are going to understand and be interested in. I'd like to do some work there, but even I don't think I'd try to gather "all the information." Fully researching and reporting one topic would be enough of a project...

But we could have something simple that explains flock powers and shepherds and rites and all of those sorts of things fairly easily, I'd think. Maybe a pamphlet.

Honestly, the pamphlet idea is a really good start. There's so much to explain that it's hard not to accidentally leave something out. It'd be a lot less overwhelming, too - for everyone.

Sounds like you've got yourself a project, though.

Maybe. I haven't decided what I want to dig into first just yet. I have some personal things, but i don't know if many other people here especially care about divergent universes...

If you had to pick one thing about what's been going on you wanted to know more about, what would it be?

Besides the the main chaos? I'd probably like to know more about the priests. I went with a group out into the ocean almost two weeks ago and it turns out that Rose's priest was down there - so I've been curious about Thistle's ever since.

I don't know too much more about them, either. [he grins at the notepad] Just that they're out there. Wouldn't be surprised if some of the other flocks are already looking, but haven't said anything about it.
