Dream a Lil Dream
WHO: Anyone But Especially Weeds
WHERE: The Pasture
WHEN: Day 51-ish
[everything is great and everyone you know continues to make great decisions, which is also great! it's a good thing that weird events in the pasture never do anything bad to anyone.
in the meantime, Blossom has dragged this sausage creature with a mushroom in its mouth out from behind a rock. there appears to be a portal of pure darkness ripped into being behind its head, so if you want to like... astral project into that, or just... step into it, honestly...
you're welcome to...?]
(((ooc: This is an Optional Mini Adventure for any Sheep that want to glance at Luck's dream fuckery AND a Weeds only. Thing .
Flock members go here! for you, this is just a short little "comment to receive goodies" sign up, but you might get a nugget of information too.
Weeds go here, there's a special adventure for you today ✨)))

WEEDS
as your eyes adjust, you realize that while there's no illumination, it's still somehow possible to see the path stretching out away from you, winding down and down, doors eating into its outer wall every few paces like strange organic growths. it moves in a long spiral with only hollow air at its center -- you can look down and see how it draws your attention, mesmerizing. it would be so easy to lean in further, fall forever into that distant heart...
you catch yourself, the fascination broken for the moment. there is a susurrus of a hundred hundred voices that swells and subsides far below.
it's now possible to notice the incongruities around you in this alien void carved into the heart of a mountain. specifically, you are standing in a section of the spiral pathway that's been cordoned off from progress forward or backward rest by little tied ropes that do not at all fit the aesthetic. signs appear to have been drawn in crayon and posted next to them -- they say things like "STAY HERE" and "RESERVED" and "BAD IDEA, PROMISE." there are seven doors to choose from within the cordoned off section, but the last one has another rope across it, and another sign that says "IN USE." there is a crude drawing of a snake.
the flock members can't get through it. you, though? drawn by an irresistible call, you can't choose anything else.
you step forward into...!]

[Edgelord is not subtle about his presence, and comments loudly]
Hate to break it to you, but foresakin' happens all the time. If you're worried about keepin' safe, maybe you should think more about how to do it for yourself, and less about "faith."

you can't open the snake door no matter how much you try, but what door do you choose instead?]
[ROLL A 1D6 OR CYOA, I'M NOT YOUR DAD]
DOOR 1
MEMORY OF THE ANT
you are a crawling thing, driven to tunnel through the dirt, but you know this to be deceptive. you can feel the might of the colony behind you, pushing you forward in a dreadful swelling tide. you are the instrument of this force. you are the collective will. you are blind ambition. no matter how small you are, no matter how easily your exoskeleton and segmented legs can be crushed, you will not be denied.
you see a vision of that door with the snake drawing in front of you again.
then in the real world, you abruptly fall into the stinging-cold water of the ocean near the pasture, and your head goes under. you wake up.]
[FLOCK MEMBERS COMMENT HERE to note that you've received this memory!]
Re: MEMORY OF THE ANT
Re: MEMORY OF THE ANT
Re: MEMORY OF THE ANT
EFFECTS
Weeds who receive the boon of the ant in the Snake's room temporarily receive strength a hundred times beyond their size and the ability to raise structures of earth out of the ground like Ed Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist. They also get a sharp impression of every flock member who chose this door, connecting to this memory and helping them.
Flock members who chose this door will also know if a Weed gets their boon, but while they'll feel a sense of their energy being reached out for and get a brief vision of whatever their Weed is doing in that moment, they fully won't know anything else about what the hell is going on. Better ask and hope the Weed likes you if you want to know, kids.
Both Weeds and Flock members who get a boon or experience a memory will also get the souvenir of a little piece of rock with their creature on it that lets them transform into that creature for 1-2 comments or no more than 60 seconds IC (1x use). It can also include a lingering "blind ambition" emotional effect if you want, so have fun.]
