Well some people have ample power within themselves. For whatever place I choose as my home I'd use myself as the anchor point for any wards I placed. Sometimes objects can hold a great deal of power. Magical gemstones and the like.

Oh, is that the place with the beautiful ward? The craftsman is a genius. The work is quite precise and its looks as though it's fairly simple for the maker to adjust as well. Adjustments can be the hardest part of magic, its been a weakness of mine so I admire that in others.

Yeah, that's them. If someone touches it then it teleports them somewhere else, I think. I don't know the magic, I've just seen it do its work.
