[the morning of day 22 begins with a light drizzle, as has been typical for the past few days. but despite the damp weather, a playlist of music also echoes across the pasture, luring you towards the center!]

[there, you will find that someone has planted a large bamboo tree, which is surrounded by wooden tables that are covered with colorful slips of paper and pens. a colorful sign, decorated with random doodles of stars, clouds, suns, and other fun shapes, contains a set of instructions:]

WELCOME TO TANABATA!

WRITE A WISH ON A PIECE OF PAPER AND TIE IT TO THE BAMBOO TREE.

HAVE FUN!

[the music and the bamboo wishing tree are a great start to the festival, but other people have been hard at work to make this a day to remember, right?]

[THE FESTIVAL IS ONGOING AND SO FUN. Even the brainless sheep get in on it, mindlessly eating candy apples and other treats and probably bumping into your booths. They, they're doing their best.

Blossom and Stormy can also be found making an appearance among the other sheep, Blossom oohing and awing and just looking starstruck by everything and probably at some point she gets accidentally shot at the gun booth. it's fine she's fine.

STORMY meanwhile is mesmerized by the wishing tree and for a long while can be found just staring up at it. Then, when the requisite evening storm rolls around. . .it doesn't rain. There's the threat of thunder, before the clouds part, revealing the two bright moons and the star filled sky. Those stars are sure bright today. Like REALLY bright. It's almost like. . .

They're shining on Stormy.*

He seems to be in a trance as something (or someone) hovers over him, the figure staring longingly at the wishing tree and then the stars, before disappearing in a brilliant flash.

And if you didn't see it, you'll feel it. Everyone, Flocks and Weeds alike, will feel a slight POP of static. And they might keep feeling it! From Night 22 to Night 23, all characters will have have the ability to conduct small, not lethal electric shocks:

1) They are non lethal but depending on intent and emotion, they CAN be strong enough to stun.
2) Additionally, if you touch/shock someone with intent, the person will blurt out a Truth to you before they can catch themselves. It may not always happen! Do what you want.

Weird. Anyway Stormy comes out of his trance and uuuuuuh.
