[WAKEY WAKEY PEOPLE!! Wow, no matter who you are, you feel like you're starting to wake up from a really bad trip! At least the ambience is really peaceful and the grass you're laying in is dewey and sweet smelling? Really, this doesn't seem all that bad.

...at least it wouldn't, if you weren't also probably surrounded by strangers. Characters will find themselves sitting with 5-6 other people; and all but one of you have color coded collars with bells on them. Try as you might, you can't remove them. One member of your group however, will wake up clutching a tall shepherd's staff, with a team colored bell attached to it. There's an innate feeling they should hold on to it.

Maybe you will immediately try to introduce yourself! But, you might find that difficult, as you can't remember your name. Some may have forgotten even more than that. Whoops! Also curiously, if you had any powers prior to coming here? You can't seem to use them at the moment. All your belongings aside from whatever you were last wearing also seem to be missing.

Well. This is a mess. But hey, maybe.............all the dozens and dozens of miniature sheep just STARING at you might be able to help. In particular, a small pink sheep and black ram waddle up, looking a bit alarmed.

And they start talking.]

THIS, THIS IS SO MANY PEOPLE. THIS IS TOO MANY??? I HECKED UP, I HECKED UP--!

Baahaha! It's fiiiine, we just have toss one, right? Shouldn't be too hard.

[And suddenly, you're all struck with a brief bout of silence as they continue to chatter. Well! Maybe listen very carefully to what they have to say.]

[OOC: All supernatural/magic/special abilities (including sheep powers) are sealed until characters go to their respective barns and activate them! If you try to enter a barn that isn't yours right now, your character will be immediately crippled by a massive migraine. Go to your own barn!

DECISIONS will be due no later than Friday May 5th at 9PM EST. Blossom and Stormy will take the answer from each team's Shepherd HERE. Whatever happens will depend on what team ends up chosen!

No offense, but if I'm stuck here I'm not going to be taking orders from anyone else, especially not you.

[He's trying to take his collar off now to give it to the guy, but. Yeah. It's stuck.]

I wasn't planning on giving out orders.

[dips his hands into his pockets as he watches Chuuya struggle with the collar]

. . . need some help?

No, I can get it just fine.

[He cannot. He's trying to undo the collar but he just can't seem to undo the clasp. He grits his teeth as he keeps trying, and then turns to just yanking on it a bit.]

It's just kinda stiff, that's all.

[arches a brow. also, while all of this is happening, the staff is. . . kind of quivering??]

It's on there really tight. . .

It's like they glued it onto me!

[He's still yanking. He feels the staff quivering a bit but he's still trying to hold onto it while working at his collar.]

[it takes a moment, but eventually, Akira notes the quivering staff as well]

Hey, wait--

[but before he can say anything, the staff suddenly shoots up from the ground, whizzing back towards Akira like a bullet]

[the hook may or may not catch this mysterious redhead by the neck as it goes. I'm sorry]

[Yeah it is absolutely catching him by the neck as it goes zooming back. He's going to make a strained noise of surprise that is cut off before it can become a yell.

It also means Akira is about to get slammed by 125 pounds of angy teen. Something something newton's laws of motion]

[well. this is going to go about as well as expected]

[which is to say, Akira tries to brace himself for impact, but it's too little too late. both the staff and the mysterious strange redheaded boy slam into him hard enough to knock the air out of his lungs]

[and down they go, into a pile of pained limbs on the grass]

[It's fine. They can lay there for a moment and accept humiliation as they catch their breaths.

Though after a moment, he will pick up the staff and put it on whatever part of Akira he can currently reach. Chest, hand, face, wherever.

Fine, you be the leader.]

[his hand, incidentally! Akira's fingers curl around the staff as he lets out a deep, pained exhale]

[he stays laying on the ground, though. arms splayed out at his sides]

. . . I didn't know it would do that. For the record.

And for the record, you're still not my boss.

[They're doing great.]

[ow. anyway, he's sitting up now, resting the staff in his lap]

[He sits up too and rubs at his neck.]

We might as well go find the others we're stuck with for now and see how screwed or not-screwed we are.

[The herd mentality begins.]

That's my Plan A. I figured once we find everyone in purple, then we can start making decisions from there.

Not really. All of their answers were vague and unhelpful, and when I started to touch on something important, Stormy cut me off.

Vague and unhelpful in the way where it's clear something's up, but they're covering up just enough to get you interested in finding out what you're missing?

[Bah. He hates those kinds of mysteries.]
