Final Prep and Travel

[Any last things you need to thread before you head out, now's the time. Death's Eye is still mercifully closed so that's. . .something, right?

Once ready to go though. . .no turning back.

Those Dream Diving can gather at one of the rooms in the Daycare. The mist is thicker than usual in the area, but still easy to navigate without a guide. Any mist wolves prowling about seem especially agitated but for some reason, stay clear of the dream daycare. The sunflowers in the area are also blooming especially bright. But no time for that--it's time to drift off to sleep and focus on a target to dream jump off of. . .Ceo and Blossom being their primary options.

Those aiming to do a Heart Dive will have likely gathered the fur needed from Levi--even if you're going in different groups or doing a solo run, for the sake of timelines, you all leave together. Like normal the eyes and scales of the Forever Snake swirl around them in an almost dizzying fashion, the world blurring beneath your feet. And then, just as quickly, it stops, and gray, still, dying earth is under you. And before you is a nauseating sight.

What seems to be a massive mountain, is nothing other than the Wolf King himself, dwarfing even trees, cliffsides, and seemingly breaking through the invisible ceiling of the mist itself. The mist here is moreso a sickening miasma, and the entry to the base of the creature has been blocked off with hastily built walls with holy items embedded within, sandbags and barbed wires. Obviously, that's failed to contain him, but it seems to have at least kept his base 'anchored.' More alarmingly though, an immediate challenge awaits you. ]

Dream - Crossroads

[Whoever you choose to use as your jumping point in the dream, you'll end up meeting them at a crossroad of sorts.

If using Ceo, you find him alone in an office, with a shot of whisky in hand, forlornly looking at an old, dusty family picture. His ears swivel at your arrival, lips curling back into a growl before settling.

"Ah. So it's true--you really are going to try to enter his nightmare, then? Well, better you than my men, though I don't. . .understand why.

Let me just ask you one thing before you continue. . ."

If using Blossom you find her, still in sheep form, in. . .a void. It doesn't look dream like at all. It's a complete black void, nothing up, nothing down. She seems surprised to see you, clutching at her ears in alarm as she looks around frantically.

"W-wait, so you--you're using me?! How?! I don't even dream, that shouldn't be possible! I made SURE I couldn't--ugh. You're not going to listen to me are you?? Euuugh. B-before you go, you have to answer me though, please!"

No matter who you meet, they ask you the same question:

What is your dream?!

Once you answer, whether solo or within a group, a door will appear, and you can finally advance. Ceo won't try to stop you at all, but Blossom will try to push you back by the ankles. Unfortunately she's incorporeal so she can't do shit. Oops. ]

Heart - The Souls

[Before you can even get close to the King to even attempt to reach his core, you're immediately bombarded with mist wolves lurching from his body. But these aren't normal mist wolves--their ichor bubbles and evaporates, as if they're in pain. No, these are souls, not yet full absorbed, mad and in pain. There are literally thousands of them, and if you want to get anywhere?

At LEAST a large swath will need to be disposed of or exorcised to clear a path. This can be done by accessing your Persona forms/weapons Thistle gave everyone, or if you have any other purification or soul extraction means, go nuts. But either way. . .

Where am I?! I want to go home! Take me home!

I'm so scared, what's happening?

[well. he is not summoning a Persona but -- he's taken the dragon shape again to be as big and deadly as possible heading in here, more or less taking point. when the mist wolves rush them he hisses and spreads his wings, using the Lily necromancy not to try to thrust the souls down to Death (way too many) but just to yank and divert them so they part around him and can't come in and at them from behind, a narrow circle kept clear by his body and powers.

he is, essentially, establishing a beachhead, shielding the others while they prepare better offenses and solutions to this than he can.]

[ kaveh is not too far from charon... but he's doing his best to use charm on the mist wolves to placate them. that, and their love love beam, because he doesn't want to hurt ( or kill ) them. they're in pain, and that doesn't seem to be through any fault of their own. ]

[ mehrak even joins in - acting like a sheep dog - and trying to cull them away from the wolf king, so hopefully others can advance. ]

[It's dark. Somehow, darker than even Blossom's void.

As soon as you take a step though. . . there are lights. Dozens, thousands of burning, angry eyes peer down at you, and a storm of mist swarms around you.

You've entered his nightmare. There is no escape until he awakens. Comment if you're solo or beneath each other if you're in a group thread--you may end up in potentially different starting points.]

[After clearing a path through the devoured souls, the deeper you go into the factory, you finally see something, lurching toward you.

Something massive, threatening to consume you whole.

If Minuet is here, he'll feel a ping--they're close to his core.

You can open a gate to his heart here.

And once you do. . .it starts.

Ping Ash when an opening to the heart has been made, and let me know who'll be soloing or who'll be grouping up. Anyone can enter once the gate has been opened.]

The End of the Wolf King

[Those in the King's dream say their final words.

Those in his heart lay out their final desires.

The world around you seems to evaporate, as dream and heart becomes one, and the effects can be seen from outside the area as well.

The King's massive, overpowering form begins disappearing, releasing the thousands upon thousands of capture souls within. Some will be taken by Death, others may find as sheep or other vessel to reside in. As for the mist. . .well, it's still there, but not all of it. With the Wolf King quelled, a good chunk of it either disappears completely or thins out. There are still dangerous areas of the forest, but for the most part? Hey! No more mist wolves!

(if you're already a werewolf you're still one til u cure urself tho sorry)

Everyone finds themselves standing. . .in a room in a factory. The original Nightmare factory, looking more pristine than rundown, as the patient zero lays curled up in bed.

A small, black wolf puppy, sound asleep, and for once, in hundreds of years. . .seems to be having a pleasant dream. He even does that little kicking things pups do.

This is the result of your meddling. Your dreams, your wishes, your desires, your hopes, your chekov's npc items. The King looks peaceful, and his cheeks rosy and warm despite the fur, feeling like he's been properly welcomed back. . .given a second chance.

But that's not all that's with him. A single silver coin. . .similar to Flock Memory coins, but with the King's insignia. Perhaps he'll need this to remember all he's done some day.

But more importantly. . .he's curled around a very specific golden flower.

You have some time to chat, figure out what happened, before the world whirls around you. It seems like the Forever Snake is eager to get you back home.

[YOU'RE BACK IN THE PASTURE! HOORAY! MISSION SUCCESSFUL!!

and you arrive just in time to see Blossom drawing a rune with her blood--a usual happenstance to be honest, except this time, she doesn't finish it. Instead, the talons of the Crow Demon burst through the half finished rune, grasping at the little pink sheep, cackling wildly.]

To think I forgot your name my dear. . .I'll have to give my thanks to the pretty pigtails for reminding me~

Now how about you show your true colors?

[Blossom barely has time to squeal as her body begins to warp, becoming more demon like, with larger horns, covered in feathers. . .

Oh shit hey remember that egg?? That muffin is keeping warm?? Well anyway whatever building that was in is cooked, as a beam of light shoots from it (though it's completely harmless to Muffin).

Those around the fountain. . .will see it crumbling! No more Death's Eye, No more Fast Travel, No Antlers, No Dreams. . .why?

In the that beam of light? In the sky, all can see the holy spirits converging. . .

And from that Light emerges a massive dragon.

Anyway don't mind it, it's just gonna be FIGHTING THE CROW DEMON/BLOSSOM IN THE BACKGROUND OVER THE MEADOW.
