Mornin' pardners~ How about some brunch time gossip? Gotta make good on my promise to Miss Flora~!

Once upon a time, you were all brought here by Blossom! Blossom is is the little Pink Sheep that keeps fucking up! She really is trying to send you all home, but you being here has already made things a lot better~ And you've been able to find your own ways back. Which is to say, your shepherd can send ya back once your connection to this world has been severed.

Anywho!

The story as it was told, is the Wolf King, massive, mountain sized shadow beast of a wolf is out there gobbling up people in the mist! Aaaall out of despair because his beloved child was killed boohoo.

But wait, what a twist! It turns out Blossom was that child all along~ That's right, the only daughter of the wolf king, who faked her death, aaall so she could stay by the side of the prince she secretly pines after!

And that prince? It's Stormy! Prince--well, you know by now you shouldn't say true names outloud, so! [HE TAPS AT THE PICTURE] The Prince of the fallen king Stormia~ In order to save what remains of his kingdom. . .well first they were sacrificing people to the Gold Demon, but that was kinda fucked up! So instead, he offered himself to the Earth Spirit. In exchange for their memories, everyone would be safe and hidden away from the Wolf King for eternity~ All except Blossom of course, the sole keeper of everyone's past. Golly!

But wait, who's the Earth Spirit, you ask! Why, a Holy Beast! There are Four of them!

Gem Deer- The Earth Spirit, who keeps this pasture alive and pretty much everything else! I suppose he's the Holy Beast of Life in a way. It really likes Bluebell~ It can traverse the mist completely safely. It had been hunted by wolves, but Bluebell saved them!

Forever Snake - The Time Spirit, and the reason why it seems no one has aged! It's everywhere, always, all the time! If you see any ~scaley~ types, they likely come from a pasture that worships it. It really likes Rose~ Probably because they saved it from the wolves harvesting its scales!

The Death - The Death Spirit! She's a lot more talkative nowadays~ But her Eye is what allows you lot to be revived! She's particularly fond of Bluebell and Lily, but also she WILL kill you. Don't push your luck~ Though, has anyone figured out why she's so amenable. . .?

Dream Sheep - Those two moons in the sky every night? Surprise, they're eyes! The Dream Spirit is what allows you to share dreams, astral project, and the source of each Flock's unique powers! She has a special affinity for Clover~

Now that's all the pasture stuff! But what's out there? Who are all those wolves? Well, they're just like sheep--just from the land of the Wolf King! The proper term is ~wolf-kind~, basically anyone who has 'carnivorous' traits, like Coco or Vera! The current ruler of wolf-kind is Blossom's brother--Ceo!

Oh, did I neglect to mention that? Yeppers, she has a big brother! And he has no idea she's still alive! He still thinks a sheep killed her loooong ago, so he's go a grudge against most sheep! I wonder why she won't tell him? Maybe he wouldn't have kidnapped you all back then if he'd known, keeheehee!

Oh, but just so you know--he doesn't hate aaaall sheep-kind. His ~partner~ was the former Peony Priest, "Naythan". Turns out, their pastures were helpin' each other out for a while before the wolf king overpowered them. How sad!

Speaking of the Wolf King! If he gets ya, you get absorbed into him and turned into an eternally suffering mass of souls. Fun!! Of course, it seems a bit different for you lot. You just seem to turn into werewolves. Neat! Looks like Ceo's found a way to stave off the infection using special masks, but who knows if that's sustainable~

Aaand finally, demons! Ya know, those wacky guys we summon for rituals~ They're mostly kind of a neutral faction, and both wolves and sheep make use of their power! I heard a rumor though, that wolves and sheep relied moreso on the power of Dreams and Nightmares before~ It seems turning to more demonic means was out of desperation! Though now, the demons seem preeeeetty upset. That's why they've been making life more hard for ya lately! Wonder what that's about, hm?

But anywho! Not all demons are bad. Daisy and Coco utilize friendly ones--or at least they're friendly now, thanks to Daffodil~ But they're why ya have more to eat than fruit and grass! If ya have a demon on your side, don't worry about it turnin' on ya. But if it's summoned for a Ritual, be careful, especially if you have your real names~

Anyway, while there are several ways to "kill" demons, the only way to permanently put 'em down or seal them away, outside of a gift from Death, is obtain their heart, and perform a ritual using the rune of your assigned Flower. Like Lupin here~ Who knew?
