The eye is currently open, so I know we're not going to venture into the mist to fetch Red's body and rescue the remaining golden statues anytime soon.

[. . . please assume Lupin mentioned the agreement with Red (becoming Thistle's priest in exchange for fetching his body) at some point during my impromptu June hiatus, sobs]

But we should talk about our strategy going forward while we still have the time. Especially for those who have never been in the mist before.

That's me... Our flock powers don't work in the mist, right?

. . . right. And as far as I know, no one's found a way around that.

So we'll have to make sure we're well-armed.

I have my derringer now, but only two bullets... and the honeysuckle flashbang Tyr gave me. I don't know how much either of those things will help against anything in the mist, though.

Have you seen the sunflowers? You'll want to bring a few of those along, too. The creatures in the mist are weak to the light.

If we need anything from Red, we should get it done ASAP - maybe see if we can't use herd mentality to get things that we don't necessarily have to bug him for.

I was thinking about asking Acheron's partner, too. And Faith expressed interest in following us discreetly. I doubt she'd involve herself in anything too dangerous.

A pistol, and a few knives, actually. Wasn't planning on using the knives for fighting but they're never a bad idea to have on you, right? Happy to share those if anyone needs one.

in a way he can't explain.

so after the little meeting, he's taking his fully charged Switch and attempting to sneak off before Acheron notices.]

[ suddenly Acheron has his arm slung around Bombay's shoulder. His hair is still kinda damp from a pre-meeting shower, baggy clothes tossed on, half of them remnants of his time with Lily, loose around the neck. Which means at least part of a strange bite mark is visible on his shoulder. ]
