It's because we know how to negotiate with him. I managed to get him to change the price for Flora's gun and cigarettes simply by haggling. More people should try it.

People should try feeding him and his supplier first. Dunno if that actually helps, but couldn't hurt.

I wonder. . . when he becomes our priest, will we be able to provide him with enough so that he can lower his prices all around?

I think that'd be a good idea.

. . . meanwhile, I'll start telling people to bring him food before asking him for a quest.

Mm . . . I've been telling people to ask for their request in parts if it's something they can put together, too.

That's a good way to do it, too. It makes the price a bit cheaper.

Yeah, exactly. That's why I get the resources for flashbangs instead of the whole thing. Cheaper and let's me modify it if I have to.
