Well...part of it was 'cause I was tired of not remembering the guy living in my head, but the other part was—uh. ...I found out that there's comic books and movies about some members of the Justice League in at least one person's world, and I kinda freaked out about the idea of someone else knowing more about my own world than me.
Thanks, Charon. I knew I was probably gonna remember some crazy stuff, but I wasn't really...ready, y'know? Like, I guess me and Scarab triggered a galactic rebellion across The Reach's empire. We're gonna have to figure out how to actually deal with that when we get back.
No, they're kinda the whole scope... It's just that The Reach have been conquering planets for, like, tens of thousands of years. There are thousands of worlds that just got "freed", kind of, but now they've got to deal with scarab soldiers who might think governments and military forces are all as bad as The Reach was.
If they're all as independent as Scarab is, I can see where that would dissolve into disaster very quickly.

But; you have time to think it through while you are here, time all unmoving. Are you able to cmmunicate with them all? Are you two tgether a figure who would be trusted, by those newly liberated?
We...can, yeah. There's a couple of heroes I could go talk to about getting supplies for a communications array powerful enough to reach all of them, and Scarab is technically their commander. But that didn't exactly work out in our favor with the squad that came to meet us. Their plan was to just assassinate us if Scarab wouldn't lead the way they wanted, so he had to use system overrides to force reboots of the entire troop. Including him.
[winces, and goes to find a couple of the liquor jars, where they're stored and aging out of immediate sight]

He always talked through me. He probably could've just hooked himself up to a cell phone or something to talk to my someone, but he doesn't really have a lot to say to, like, regular people.

It really isn't. I'm never doing this again if I can help it.

Want company, or just want to sort your thoughts out privately first?
Re: Memories
Um...I think I want company. Especially if I'm gonna be drinking while I think about this stuff.

Re: Memories
One isn’t often ready for something of that scope unless they’re in a very particular position indeed.
It’s well beyond the scope of Scarab’s creators and fellows, then—? You said they’d been taken over by this force.
