I know Coco provides food via a deal with "the gratitude demon." I don't know about the others yet.

Coco and Daffodil have had that arrangement for a while, long before the priest stuff. [he crosses his arms and glances over to Lily's priest again. He lowers his voice a bit]

It isn't in my notes because it was a secret when I learned about it. Found out the day we killed the gold demon the first time - day 27? [he frowns, then nods to himself] I couldn't tell you when it started, though.

I work for my country's government, investigating and handling reports of bio-terrorism. There's viruses that can bring the dead back to life as monsters, so I - deal with that, more or less.

But I wanted to be a cop, originally. To help people. [he nods to all this] Not exactly like this, but.
