But her and I talked about magic and honeysuckle. It's actually because of that conversation I've been doing experiments with the stuff off and on.

The plant. Honeysuckle affects people with powers or magic; they were making bullets with it before I got here, so I've been trying to find out what else I can do with it. I want to make something to give to non-fighters in case of emergency that they can carry around.

If the bullets don't include use living plants . . . You could puree whatever plant you wanted to concentrate the effects or infuse it in oil or alcohol. Probably useful in a molotov cocktail.

I've put some into a flashbang already, but it's things like that - molotov is a little more than a defense item, but it'd still be useful.

Mmm, no, I haven't needed to yet. I might once I get back into it properly - it was something of a side project until recently.

Well, it's an idea. I don't think they have trouble with biological items, but that seems to be the one leap needed to be something they can tinker with. Like how humans figured out how to make plastic out of corn and so on.

No, she's everyone's cheerleader. I think it was just not knowing the full extent of his abilities which happens with more obscure fields of science.
