I don't think they are untrustworthy just because they were brought here by the snake. If anything, the snake is probably hoping we ostracize them simply because they're. . . well. Different.

I'll treat them like I do anyone. If they're kind, I'll be kind in return. If they're assholes, I'll tell them off.

I think they're on edge, still- Lyra thinks she has to be strong and independent, while no one likes to feel powerless. And then Spinel...

( the cat ears droop. given how he came to spinel's aid when the trial ended, he knows damn well why, too. )

... I'm sure they'll bounce back. But until then, I'll take care of them.
