A group of kids, all around the age of 10 or so, are running through the streets of the run-down part of the town. A certain redhead is at the front of the group, and he's grinning as he powers ahead, trying to beat everyone else in their race to the train station.

" █ █ █ █ █ wait!"

The redhead slows to a stop at a street corner, turning to look behind him at the kids who are nearly a half-block away. But he doesn't make it that far, as when he turns to look something ends up catching his eye. He stops completely and doesn't even respond to his friends, unable to move from the chill running through his body. It isn't until the friends arrive that they see what is bothering █ █ █ █ █ and gasp out in fright.

The redhead stared at the sight for a long, long time. He can't take his eyes off of all the brilliant red hair.

It's only when his friends tug on his arm and insist that he needs to go somewhere safe that he finally moves.

The former boss of the Port Mafia was deranged. Every slight against him had to end in death. A redheaded kid drew curse words on his car so he ordered every redheaded child be killed for it.

He used to do stuff like that. Poisoning an entire apartment building because one person living there was an enemy. Killing anyone who said words against the Port Mafia. The city lived in terror for years because of him.
