We were trying not to be caught by that wolf... and then we were. And it turns out we're still no match for him.

Not really. We already knew we wouldn't be able to win.

So, I don't see what turned out poorly. You knew your limitations and were able to get out with minimal injury.

Maybe. The more time passes, the more I start to wonder if bringing back that body was a good idea...

Well... that's one reason. When we broke into his mansion to rescue Leviathan and Sonata, a really bad ritual followed it.

Blossom's been missing this whole time, and I'm like... what if that's our fault?

While I don't doubt that wolf is sentimentally attached to her body, there's probably more to it. There's probably power in a soul returning to its original vessel, but Blossom hasn't done that yet. Why?

... I dunno—she's super cagey about herself. But I'm hoping we can get that out of her once she's stuffed back into that body.

That won't accomplish anything. She'll only reveal some of what she's hiding when it comes at the cost of something else and after it really matters.

Essentially, we'll get the explanation after we reach our next crux.
