While I don't doubt that wolf is sentimentally attached to her body, there's probably more to it. There's probably power in a soul returning to its original vessel, but Blossom hasn't done that yet. Why?

That won't accomplish anything. She'll only reveal some of what she's hiding when it comes at the cost of something else and after it really matters.

Well, that's what the plot is. There has to be a compromise. So, it's down to what everyone picks: Someone who is more rash and likely to be tricked that can reveal some information, or someone who knows fully what is going on but is going to guard that secret with their life.
