Anyway, how's your day?]

That's a useful landmark, considering. Not enough to get us out there without Weed help, but it makes it easy to find the site again with one.
I wonder if wolfsbane only grows once on a death-site, or regrows over and over...?

Although, hopefully we won't need to find out too soon. Between ours and the one live specimen Sonata had, there's half a dozen in the greenhouse now.
Speaking of which, I talked to Daisy and she said the wolf in there is not necessary to the growth of the plants, so it can be safely destroyed. She expects it will simply reform, though.

Has anyone volunteered to oversee their -- one hopes -- growth and propagation?

I'm not much of a gardener, so I'll leave it to the others. But I am asking that anyone who engages with it keep me in the loop, so I can record our findings.
I'd like to monitor our wolfsbane supply from now on.

[a little nod]
And a centrally monitored source wil be helpful. As would a policy of people checking if they require it if they've been within so much as sneezing distance of a wolf, honestly. We've had too many surprises, and I count my own delay in taking it within their number.

Not your fault. This is new for all of us.
What was the demon you met in the mist?

When I was kidnapped, some time ago, it was the Gold Demon who pulled me into the mist and turned me into a statue. He gave me to the Lady Demon -- my impression is that they are estranged partners, and I was a gift to try to get back into her good graces. She used me as garden decor.
[displays her image in his palm. goth southern belle with a full sheep's skull for a head, drinking tea]
Not pleasant, but less monofocused and more willing to have a discussion than most.

What did you learn from her?

The sentient wolves are 'not totally corrupted,' implying they still are, just not as lost as the Wolf King or the amalgams. She doesn't know what turned the Wolf King into what he is now, save to comment that it's 'unnatural' and that he is not a demon.
Like other demons, she didn't pay much attention to the war. She did confirm Stormy rampaged out of control when his father the King died. And she said she didn't know where Blossom's true body is, but Clover appears to have solved that mystery.
Most of the new information we got from her was regarding demons. Hell is real, but some demons originate from dream and nightmare here or drawn from other worlds, and some are mortals who wished to transform themselves rather than die. She used to be a sheep from this kingdom, like Stormy and his folk.
She doesn't have a personal stake in this conflict. Her soul, true name, and role were given up long ago, presumably when she became a demon. She didn't say what her role was.
...
I'll write down the particulars later, rather than a summary. That's easier to pick apart, I think. And if we can activate the memory coin she gave, that may include more pertinent information. Even after she agreed to give answers, she was quite roundabout.

[Ponders this all for a moment.]
I spoke to Coco before we went into the mist. She mentioned she was half wolf, and that if we were looking for wolfsbane, we should ask the wolves for help. Because she's "sure there're good wolves out there."
When we came to the cabin I told you about, some of the ash from the ruins floated up and took the ghostly form of ...what I assume was what the wolves looked like before they turned into monsters. It started to attack us, but I started pleading with it for help... and it stopped, pointed us in the direction of more wolfsbane, and disappeared.
It would be interesting if we could find someone else out there who's interested in rectifying things.
[...rose priest...??]

[said half to himself, slightly offended in a way that is clearly not directed at Azdaja. what the actual heck!]
There's also the fact that the masked wolves have explicit protection provided by the masks fom bing absorbed by the Wolf King. If they are not under Ceo's thrall, if some of them are independent agents, then perhaps there's hope.
[Rose priest could ALSO be one of those! they just don't know!]
