Re: BOTANY TEAM
Who're those guys?
Is that written in code?
Re: BOTANY TEAM
Re: BOTANY TEAM
...Where do you see "jk"?
Re: BOTANY TEAM
[ he taps at it. ]
Re: BOTANY TEAM
...This text is unfamiliar to me. I can't read it.
What does it say?
Re: BOTANY TEAM
[ He looks back at the note with a frown as he tries to figure out how to summarize . . . this. ]
Uhhhh, this bit right here's a to-do list. Nothin' fancy. Then he talks about gettin' a mask checked, some Ceo buttball bein' on to somethin' and bringin' others back . . . [ squint ] There's flowers out back he was waterin' to pay respects or whatever. A shrine near the stream?
[ a shrug! ]
S'all I got. I can write it out normally when we get back.

Re: BOTANY TEAM
[He points to the one with the missing face.]
That's their leader, I'm pretty sure. I never got his name. Are he and this Ceo the same wolf? If so, I wonder what he's bringing the others back from - death or madness.
Wait.
[Sorry, poor deceased wolf, but he's going to be taking the broken pieces of this mask for further study.]
This isn't the shrine the note is talking about, is it? Because if not I think we should take a look at that.

Re: BOTANY TEAM
Only one way to find out.
[time to look around!! He'll head over this way away from the group to listen for any running water]

Re: BOTANY TEAM
or for him to brain something. ]
Re: BOTANY TEAM
Re: BOTANY TEAM
It's not directly there though, hidden by dead and brittle thickets, but should they keep walking, they'll suddenly find a pop of color--a small garden, though it seems to be quickly withering since there's no one there to take care of it. Rather than the normal flowers they're used to, it's full of different species of nightshade flowers. Pretty to look at, but very much should not be eaten. There is a small cluster of wolfsbane there as well--three full flowers exactly.
As for the 'shrine' itself, it seems rather makeshift, but whoever put it up clearly thought it was important. It's a small offering table, with a small silver statue of a wolf up top, along with incense and small wrapped gifts.
As for the stream behind it...it's more like a ditch, almost completely dry. But there is the tiniest, saddest trickling stream of water at the very bottom of it, flowing along. Where it ends, that's unknown at the moment.]
Re: BOTANY TEAM
[ With a sigh, he walks over to the shrine and claps his hands together, bowing his head to pay his respects. ]
Re: BOTANY TEAM
...I kinda want to water these, as thanks to the ghost that directed us here.
Re: BOTANY TEAM
We can see about that after we take what we need. Though if no one else comes around they'll probably die anyway.
[Now here's a time when it would be useful to have something to take pictures with. He's looking over the flowers, seeing if he recognizes any others that would be useful - or any that might be the three that Coco mentioned.]
Re: BOTANY TEAM
Re: BOTANY TEAM
He'll pause to give the shrine a polite nod as he passes near it]
It's the thought that counts. But we could do that, too.
[not said to be a smartass, for once]
Re: BOTANY TEAM
Though if they're going to examine or take anything else, they should get to that asap. They're far from where they entered the mist, which means the mist wolves this far out? They aren't being distracted.
Some howls can be heard in the distance.]
Re: BOTANY TEAM
Maybe we can take some small ones and water the rest? I don't want to disturb this place too much. The wolves helped us this time, and I don't want to provoke their ire more than we already have.
