[It's a frosty morning at the edge of the outer pasture, where some intrepid explorers are about to dive into the mist in pursuit of herbs.]

Don't matter so much. If ya gotta yield, ya yield. 'Sides, I'm used ta gettin' at other people's levels. Ain't fun if it's a curbstomp battle. What's the point?

Heh! That's easy. It's like chasin' a high. If someone ain't at my level, it's all 'bout figurin' how far I can go, how much I gotta hold back, the wire I gotta walk ta make it juuuust enough of a challenge without 'em throwin' in the towel. 'Course, I ain't gonna do that for any old schmuck.

And if they're at my level? Even better! Means I can cut loose, no holdin' back. Don't get ta do that often 'cause it's overkill. That shit's a thrill.

These adventures are really showing me that I should at least try to get a little more in shape, since the last time I did this I was so sore I could barely move for three days.

At least yer bein' honest with yerself! There's a buncha guys here who ain't in the shape they should be. I got a lot on my plate already.

Speaking of making friends, I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to carry all three of you. You're gonna have to snuggle up real close, I think. Nuts to butts, as they say.

I'm gonna be focused on navigation, so I'll be depending on you guys to keep us safe. --And to collect the wolfsbane, if we find it. I have a trowel and some jars in my saddlebags. We'll need to dig it up, roots and all, if we want to propagate it in the greenhouse. I'll be counting on your nimble human fingers for that.
