We can agree that there's a new foe in the mists with real and active intent to endanger us all, correct? As they've done us the courtesy of a warning strike and not an all-out offensive from the start, let's meet and come up with a plan of action together. I'm sure we're all looking to our barns individually, but it's better if a direct threat never gets that far in.

If people in your flock or Weeds your flock is friendly with want to present some suggestions and solutions themselves, or just attend to stay informed, please have them attend as well.

This entire meeting was called not only to find a way to deal with the mushrooms and eye, but to make sure we all have sufficient resources and preparations on hand. Supplies, traps magical and otherwise, ways to raise defenses, sufficient healing so we can at least make sure no one is permanently maimed or lost, and communication so everyone is on the same page as to what is even happening.

If you’ve criticism or other suggestions, I’ll hear you out, but this is an odd line of questioning indeed, considering the context.

You're Lily's shepherd. Lily and Bluebell seem to lead the charge when it comes to most things in this pasture - this meeting included. It wouldn't surprise me if you already had a plan in the works and were just looking to tweak it with input. That's why I'm asking.

The plan is in fact to get everyone to coordinate and cooperate, upfront; I only happened to be the one to call people together and I'm willing to organize things. But I'm working under the same limitations everyone else is. There are no secret plans in my pocket, and even if there were, I could not enact one that involved the entire community without everyone's help.

I'm a strategist, and I want to keep us all alive. I'm not a miracle worker.

As far as keeping an eye out, I'm obviously one of the only individuals here with an advantage in the waterways. I assume that sort of reconnaissance may be necessary.

If you are willing to do so, it would be much appreciated. I'm not sure how reachable they'd find the ocean, but everything else seems to be in the same range the mushrooms hit, so we must plan for them potentially doing something to or through the water.

...It's worth noting, for the sake of our pasture's security, that there is a tunnel leading from the lake to the ocean. It's accessible only via deep underwater entrances.
