[shepherds of sheepgame y'all get a call from Charon at some point:]

We can agree that there's a new foe in the mists with real and active intent to endanger us all, correct? As they've done us the courtesy of a warning strike and not an all-out offensive from the start, let's meet and come up with a plan of action together. I'm sure we're all looking to our barns individually, but it's better if a direct threat never gets that far in.

If people in your flock or Weeds your flock is friendly with want to present some suggestions and solutions themselves, or just attend to stay informed, please have them attend as well.

[though he stops her before she tries to heal (??), he's confused when the blood flow lessens. the searing pain is still present. he imagines the wound is too. he doesn't know how weeds heal. but he could probably borrow her powers. does she carry her tears around...]
