lay the groundwork
WHO: anyone who wants to PREPARE FOR TROUBLE
WHERE: idk somewhere in the pasture that's relatively comfortable. library?
WHEN: nebulous day 51 between shenanigans
[shepherds of sheepgame y'all get a call from Charon at some point:]
We can agree that there's a new foe in the mists with real and active intent to endanger us all, correct? As they've done us the courtesy of a warning strike and not an all-out offensive from the start, let's meet and come up with a plan of action together. I'm sure we're all looking to our barns individually, but it's better if a direct threat never gets that far in.
If people in your flock or Weeds your flock is friendly with want to present some suggestions and solutions themselves, or just attend to stay informed, please have them attend as well.
[WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN, i'll put up some headers, let people know what you/your team are doing or planning under the appropriate ones so that other people can chime in with suggestions and assistance! HANDWAVE YOU GOT TOLD IF YOU WANNA BE THERE.
Charon is not going to be responding to Absolutely Everything because i am but one player but everyone feel free to jump each other. i'll sort out a summary at the end as needed.
ETA: SUMMARY IS here, if you wanna get involved with anything on the list please assume you overheard something about it during the meeting and hit up the other people involved!]

Also agree on caltrops.

Re: offense
Thistle had some spraypaint cans, it'd be easy enough to rig those as part of a trap.

Spikes and caltrops, yes, particularly if Rose is willing to summon and strip vines for the latter purpose. If you are able to create an automated magical trigger that will snap a group of sunflowers to activation or set off a row of pepperpods instantly, excellent.
A double ring of sunflowers around the fountain, if you are: one facing outward to activate against threats, one facing inward and in a state of constant activation, changed out regularly, to continually weaken the claws. We can't risk damaging the fountain itself with something more volatile.
I'm not sure we can turn the bones to our purpose, unless Blossom can repurpose the spell that used them as a defense mechanism. I am also not sure about the mushrooms' efficacy on wolves, but I will submit that it is very easy for a Lily ghost to puppet a faux-body containing them into locomotion.
Scarab is suggesting mundane flares and tripwires; we can combine dye traps with that.
