lay the groundwork
WHO: anyone who wants to PREPARE FOR TROUBLE
WHERE: idk somewhere in the pasture that's relatively comfortable. library?
WHEN: nebulous day 51 between shenanigans
[shepherds of sheepgame y'all get a call from Charon at some point:]
We can agree that there's a new foe in the mists with real and active intent to endanger us all, correct? As they've done us the courtesy of a warning strike and not an all-out offensive from the start, let's meet and come up with a plan of action together. I'm sure we're all looking to our barns individually, but it's better if a direct threat never gets that far in.
If people in your flock or Weeds your flock is friendly with want to present some suggestions and solutions themselves, or just attend to stay informed, please have them attend as well.
[WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN, i'll put up some headers, let people know what you/your team are doing or planning under the appropriate ones so that other people can chime in with suggestions and assistance! HANDWAVE YOU GOT TOLD IF YOU WANNA BE THERE.
Charon is not going to be responding to Absolutely Everything because i am but one player but everyone feel free to jump each other. i'll sort out a summary at the end as needed.
ETA: SUMMARY IS here, if you wanna get involved with anything on the list please assume you overheard something about it during the meeting and hit up the other people involved!]

Re: offense
I have not identified any advantage we would gain from entering the mist, but should this change I am available.
Regarding alarm systems: I possess high proficiency. Effective security and warning measures are critical to an effective overall combat system.
Re: offense
Perhaps...we ought to quest for the components, and have alarms on the fence that are entirely nonamgical, then, at minimum. Something that will alert us when and where something crosses.
Re: offense
Probable high cost: Electronic system to be affixed to the fence. Upon fence breech, system should issue alerts to each barn. Or shepherd? This option will require a power source to be maintained.
Probable mid-range cost: Mechanical system utilizing trip wires and flare guns. Trip wire to be strung along fence line and fixed to flare guns at specified intervals. Upon fence breech, flare gun will fire and provide a rough location of the breech.
Re: offense
Re: offense
I will inform you when I obtain the quest, and when it is complete. Regardless of the task, I am sure there will be sufficient volunteers to assist with it.
Re: offense
Lupin suggested graffiti along the fence as well -- I believe as a rite, but if you coordinate with him it may serve very well to disguise the installation, as well as the components themselves.
