[these kinda look like...fortune cookies? they're probably made of cattail flour or something, but the shape is right. they taste mild and sweet. the sign on the basket says PLEASE TAKE ONE! BREAK BEFORE EATING!

you can comment here (anon or not) if your character does, to see what Friendly Cookie Advice(TM!) they get on the paper inside! or you can assume they got something commonsensical about self-care, like 'please remember to drink some water today' and 'if you feel stressed, take five minutes to just breathe somewhere quiet.'

characters can also actually take more than one, but if they try to get too many or snag the whole basket, the ghost is gonna retreat into the secure part of the meadow and they'll be yote across the pasture away from Lily if they chase it. leave some for others!]

She didn't at the start. The Snake exploited that, tortured her, and stole her power, so she put up measures to keep people from reaching her again.

On the other hand, we also just had no option of returning from death at the start. I'm not sure how one rates that tradeoff.

Assuming no confession, it can be difficult as some will try to hide their affection. You would have to know that person well enough to tell.

I know the attachment I have to my flock is something I wouldn't feel, if Blossom hadn't bound us together.

...it's pathetic I don't mind it more. I know it's holding me back from things I'd have otherwise done by now.

What do you think? Is it worse, to sit and abide when you know something's changed you from what you really are...

I feel like the people I know are unfamiliar to me after being here as long as they have, and I'm not sure how to bridge that gap. On the one hand, it's good that they've found some purpose here. On the other, I'm feeling a bit out of place, even though the people I've met here from other worlds have been very kind.

I'm not used to feeling so redundant and while I'm trying to look for ways to be useful to my flock, I can't help but feel like I'm not offering anything others can't do better. I'm trying not to let it stress me out, but sometimes...

I hate to sound too cheesy right off the bat, but even if I don't know who you are, I can say with full confidence that you aren't redundant.
