[GOOD MORNING SHEEP. You may have been awoken by your OWN sheep--as they seem to be very active this morning, bleating, and gathering at the fountain. It looks like it's offering time, as the gathered sheep have left offerings to their new gods among the crystal flowers, despite Blossom's protests.]

NO!! For the last time they aren't gods, they're--you! Stop praying!! W-weh,,,

MEANWHILE, some people may have noticed it's a chillier this morning. Not uncomfortable, just a sharp contrast to the usual pleasant, mild temperature of the pasture. Additionally, for anyone venturing out into the meadows, you'll notice there is far less wildlife around, including the pygmydillos, birds, and fish. That's probably not a bad omen or anything.

Anyway, while you're at the fountain, you may catch the eye closing and the glow on those antlers fading. Looks like Death's taking a break!]

Oh... Okay. So when you said "the death that occurs here", you're referring to what would be considered a more "normal" death experience.

...Implying you have died before coming here, too...?

I wouldn't know. Before coming here, I didn't think there was a post-death experience.

Oh? You don't believe in faith? They usually have a heaven and hell or an afterlife.

No, we have faith, it just doesn't include anything like that for the common person. We just die and that's it.

Stellatio and Pahvic both have afterlifes... err... the Stardragon believes in reincarnation... I know several folk religions that believe in the soul becoming a fae once the body perishes...

What did you personally believe, if anything?

Oh, I don't believe in any religion. I've seen too much suffering for that. If there's a higher being out there that orchestrates that much cruelty in the world, they haven't earned my belief in them.

Our deity is our Emperor. Even though he's eternal and miraculous and everything, he's not a creator god. He didn't make the universe and he doesn't supernaturally interfere in people's fates beyond dictating the laws we follow and charting courses for our society's growth. He's a political leader as much as a religious one.
