[Azdaja sits across the table from you, holding a digital tablet. She looks the same as usual, but in this dream you understand that she is a child, maybe around 8 or so years old. She's wearing a plain jumpsuit, and a white collar with a barcode printed around it. In fact, so are you, and so are the other hundreds of nearly identical children milling around in this vast, windowless room.]

[Everyone is chilling out, playing by themselves or with each other in small groups. Azdaja looks up from her tablet at you with an excited expression on her face.]

Mute is crouched down near a pond. Which pond? Any pond. Probably your pond at least once. They have a notebook out and are making Observations. If you need light to see, it is damn near impossible to tell what the fuck they are looking at. But if you're not a diurnal chump, you can probably see what looks surprisingly like little clusters of mini-boba. Slick black roe left in wobbly clumps among the reeds. They are taking careful notes about each cluster then scooting on to the next, and mumbling to themselves. ]

Sublime . . . perfect . . . perfect . . . breathtaking. ]

[Had been gathering his things to go collect food from the garden but has discovered a red sketchbook in one of his foraging pouches. Upon looking through it he sees some of the sketches of Muffin that he caught a glimpse of before--so he's searching around for Azdaja!]

[She's not too hard to find, as most of her evening she has spent walking to, from, around, inside, or outside the clinic.]

[In the afternoon, she's probably behind the clinic, testing the consistency of the soil by digging at it a little with a homemade trowel. Hopefully he will see her there.]

[muffin is indoors (in the library or in Daffodil's sunroom) for once instead of running around madly during the storm. he's doing his very best to STUDY!!! through a pile of books. he's taking notes and everything.

[Shadow Fiend is taking a break from everything to do so some spear drills just inside the Rose pasture, using her shepherd's staff as a makeshift spear. some vines with very long thorns wrapped around the head form the spear's point, while a thorny knot of vines at the other end form a counterweight. it's kinda janky, but it does the job.

mid very-complicated-exercise, Shadow Fiend abruptly stops and looks at her jury-rigged spear, tilting it back and forth]
