He's a brilliant doctor, a gentle man, and hopeless when it comes to taking care of himself. Before he adopted me, he worked as a physician in the Imperial Palace. That's no easy position to obtain.

...I have three sisters. As of now, they're the three top-ranked courtesans of the Verdigris Building.

We're not related by blood, but they helped raise me after the woman who gave birth to me was no longer able to.

I love hearing about the diversity of human family units. I don't think I've heard any two of you repeat the same family composition in this place. I find it so fascinating!
