[ Since it is a Daffodil rite, the Daffodils (at least, the ones that are not children who have no idea what they're doing and therefore aren't Tart, the best baby shepherd ever) have set up a little party in the rec room for all the kids and their poor beleaguered adults!

They've set up snacks and pulled out a few games as well as some pillows from the library for naptime and books — including picture books — nearby before putting the word out to others to stop by the rec room around lunchtime. And hey, if they have anything they can bring along, all the better! ]

[ the answer is: she has taken every large jug and vase and pot and pan she could find in Daffodil's kitchen and has been pouring water into those. ]

[ takes out his lion-headed staff, setting the base to the ground ]

[ if he is not stopped the water will dry tf out, leaving only salt crystals and whatever other ocean debris there would be behind, but also maomao is free to stop him for just starting up his signature spell with no warning or explanation ]

Maomao has no fear of him, but part of that is informed by she's not actually interested in sticking her neck out in ways that seem like it might be dangerous, and also: that was pretty cool. ]

takes out his bag and upturns it to take out one(1) full-ass tree as well as a broom and a couple miscellaneous stuff

tosses the bag over to maomao ]

[ if he says so! she's not going to argue! she will just take the bag and start heading for the ocean. ]

[ he's going to chill on the beach part. does not feel like going into the water thanks ]

[ yeah, she can handle that. probably what works out best is her bringing buckets for him to dry out before she dumps the resultant salt into his bag, then trots off again. this can repeat as many times as necessary ]

[ Many Salt. in between magicking buckets he's idly looking into the sand like he's passively exploring. mildly interested in the rocks in the area ]
