THE BABY PARTY

WHERE: The Rec Room
WHEN: Day 33, around lunchtime

[ Since it is a Daffodil rite, the Daffodils (at least, the ones that are not children who have no idea what they're doing and therefore aren't Tart, the best baby shepherd ever) have set up a little party in the rec room for all the kids and their poor beleaguered adults!

They've set up snacks and pulled out a few games as well as some pillows from the library for naptime and books — including picture books — nearby before putting the word out to others to stop by the rec room around lunchtime. And hey, if they have anything they can bring along, all the better! ]

They're cute and I like to sing with them! But sometimes they try to eat Coda so I can't have any. Coda's my shyder.

Its a spider sheep! They live in the forest and they're why it's so dark in there- all of the trees are a giant nest!!!! Theyre, um- thiiis big- ( holds her hands out to the size of a cantaloupe- something a decent-sized or ambitious lilywog would totally try to eat. ) -and got eight legs and eight eyes. Their silk is suuuuper sharp, but if they wrap it around something broken, it fixes it!



They keep the trees safe.

I think he's outside! He only likes being inside Clover's barn.

( ... looks around and then leans in to whisper conspiratorially: )

He likes to steal from the others' fruit trees too.

But we can go meet him! He always comes when I call.

He will. I'll go get him!

( and maybe mute can hear her toddle out, just at the door, and a loud yet still baby "CODAAAAAA!" before... a lot of scuttling.

and then she comes back in, a baby following. he has a green handkerchief tied around one of his legs. )
