THE BABY PARTY

WHERE: The Rec Room
WHEN: Day 33, around lunchtime

[ Since it is a Daffodil rite, the Daffodils (at least, the ones that are not children who have no idea what they're doing and therefore aren't Tart, the best baby shepherd ever) have set up a little party in the rec room for all the kids and their poor beleaguered adults!

They've set up snacks and pulled out a few games as well as some pillows from the library for naptime and books — including picture books — nearby before putting the word out to others to stop by the rec room around lunchtime. And hey, if they have anything they can bring along, all the better! ]

... it looks like while no one was looking, she tried to make apple bunnies. its a little clumsy... but there's not a single nick on her baby fingers. )

You got all big again... do you think I'll get bigger again too?

Were you bigger before?

Yeah! I remember being bigger here. Mostly. It's all jumbly.

[ makes a thoughtful noise ]

I dunno, ya look just as big, or should I say, just as small as ya normally do.

teasing her ]

Huh...? ( ...!!!!!! paps him!!! ) I'm not!!! You're just too big!

[ chuckles, pleased that she's picked up on his joke ]

Oh yeah? I dunno, I think I'm just right. But let's see . . .

[ reaches over to pick her up, but only lifts her up a couple inches off the ground ]

Were ya this tall before?

[appleblossoms]

( goes stiff for a moment before kinda dangling like a kitten... )

Nuh-uh. I was bigger. I could reach the highup cabinet and everything!

Hmmmh. Like this?

[ lifts her aaaaall the way up, as high as he can while standing ]

( sonata giggle-squeals, trying to stay still- )

Too tall!

How 'bout this?

[ slightly diagonally down. more to the side than any lower tbh. the important point here is that he does it fast and drastically enough that her dangling legs will swing ]

( SQUEAKS!!! like the dangly kitten she is!! she doesn't seem to hate it though- )
