[ Since it is a Daffodil rite, the Daffodils (at least, the ones that are not children who have no idea what they're doing and therefore aren't Tart, the best baby shepherd ever) have set up a little party in the rec room for all the kids and their poor beleaguered adults!

They've set up snacks and pulled out a few games as well as some pillows from the library for naptime and books — including picture books — nearby before putting the word out to others to stop by the rec room around lunchtime. And hey, if they have anything they can bring along, all the better! ]

Once I'm done, I'll see about boiling it down for salt... don't let them get too rowdy in the kitchen when I do.

[ He pauses, considering something and rubs at his chin. ]

[ she also pauses, cocking her head ]

After this, when you have a moment, I would like to take a look at what you have in your workshop. I have a few ideas for— a medicine. For Charon.

I need to assess what we have access to, but— perhaps something a bit more effective than a tea.

Most of what I have is what is natively available in the forest and the pasture, but I am considering asking the shady merchant for other seeds, when I can.

I need to get some sort of proper, ehh . . . case or bag for things. Daffodil magic allows me to have an infinite amount of space inside of them. So you can imagine what I could do with a proper medical case.

Muffin showed me one of those early on... I admit, I'm envious. That seems like it would be incredibly useful.

[ He reaches over to pat her on the head once, lightly. ]

So we'll use my powers for our benefit. How about that?

[ this is the closest I have to a response for a headpat. same face, different hand placement. ]

That would be excellent.

[ He pulls his hand back. ]

Then we'll do that. [ a beat. ] You know, back home, I had a case where I'd carry my ingredients, but I also had, ehhh . . . equipment with me. I could set it down and mix something up quickly, in a pinch.
