I think we're doing alright. I know Vivace had a bit of a hard time... [ having been the one to start to decompose... ] But we're getting by. [ nothing as bad as what rose went through. ] Do you want to come in? With such a healthy supply of apples I'm sure I could whip something up for you and your friend.

Me! I can cook. I'm not sure about the others. Do you know who to cook?

I think most people on Rose can cook at least a little, but it's not exactly gourmet, if you know what I mean!

I know what you mean. I'm not sure I'd consider myself a gourmet chef, but I certainly know my way around the kitchen. Now it's really just a matter of getting resources.

Yep, that's definitely a problem, isn't it! D'you have anyone who can hunt and stuff in your flock?

Rubato can most definitely hunt. I'm not sure the others are capable. [ or willing... ] What about you and yours?

A few of us are okay at hunting, I think! Both in terms of like, powers and being able to do it. That sure comes in handy.

And most of us don't wanna live off of apples and leafy things forever, so we've definitely got reason to go hunting, too.

[ kaveh chews on his lip a moment, thinking about bluebell. oh boy... he combs his fingers through his hair, looking mildly distressed. ] It sounds like you guys are pretty well off then. I'm not so sure I can hunt, but I probably have the power to do so. [ of the others he only really thinks chord could/would. ]

I don't blame you. I'm not so sure I could live on a leafy diet. [ but they can strictly rely on rubato. perhaps he can talk to the team and maybe talk to rose about splitting resources ad cooking meals or something. ] I still need to go out and see what kind of animals are even out there.

Yeah, I think a few of us are used to roughing it a little, you know? Maybe we can get better at the cooking part now that we can't make someone else do it!

Some of the animals out there aren't so bad! Like, the shyders? They're pretty adorable!

I know this might be a bit our of the blue, but... perhaps we can talk to our teams about some sort of, ah, resource [ rolls his wrist. ] exchange. I understand that we would have to see if either side is even interested, but it could be beneficial to us both, depending. [ a smile. ]

I only saw some deer, which had gemstones on them, ...and their stag, who broken some of my ribs.

Deer with gemstones? ...Oh, wait, we don't have anyone to sell gemstones to here, do we. At least we can eat 'em.

Oh, and--what kind of exchange did you mean? Like, for different kinds of food? Whatever we can hunt for...whatever you guys can do?

[ sajfdfjg. ] Ah, I... I'm not sure I would want to eat them. Far too cute. [ or if you're going to eat them, then please don't tell him. ]

[ nods. ] I know you said you can cook, but we can always take care of that. Or we can maybe take care of clothes, maybe? As far as details go I would have to see what kinds of things we can offer, but... we would probably definitely need your hunting skills, eh heh. Would you mind if I got back to you? Do you think it would be something you guys would consider?

I think everyone on Rose is pretty reasonable! I mean, we'd need to work out all the details and stuff, but bartering goods and services isn't a bad idea, if we're all gonna survive here.

Exactly. I think it could only benefit us in the long term. Perhaps we can set up some kind of meeting between our herds at some point. When things settle down a bit. I'll talk to Bluebell.
